The village of Kentri is located just north of Ierapetra in the Lassithi prefecture. It is so close to it that it feels like a small suburb. You reach the village from the road that leads from Ierapetra in the south to Pachia Ammos in the north and there are several exits that you can take. In Kentri there are two churches, one of which stands at the cemetery of the village. The other one is the village church, and is called the Panagia.
