Here are a few shots of the pictures we made on the island of Paros in september 2006. In 2006 we did not spend too much time on the island, because we stayed on Antiparos as a homebase this time, but we did make a trip with the car over Paros into the mountains to a monastery and a new church, and we inspected the butterfly valley. As you can see the butterfly valley was closed due to no butterflies. They are only there in august and in that month we are never on the island. The valley of the butterflies is surrounded by tall and inpressive trees. We also went to the capitol Parikia, which is always fun, and we visited a friend of ours, Renata from Rena Rooms, a Dutch woman that is married to a Greek, who rents out some nice rooms in Parikia. I only knew her from the emails, so it was nice to see her in reality.
