Pefki is a seaside resort in the north of the island of Evia. It is set in a green area with predominantly pine trees ("pefki" in Greek means "pine trees") and fields with olive trees. There are also many grapes grown in the area. The distance to the capital of the island, Chalkida, is some 125 kilometers. The road to the village is good but it has many curves. Parts of the route go through beautiful pieces of nature.
