This taverna is situated on the main the square / intersection of the village of Apolakkia, where there are a few more restaurants. Comfortable seats and a friendly and quick service. We order a chicken gyros, a sea bream and a tzatziki. The house wine is very tasty and the chicken gyros is also very good. Crispy French fries.

Down at the beach of Gennadi there are three seafood restaurants: Klimis, Antonis and Sposa, although Sposa gives more the impression of being a lounge bar. Because of the crowds of children playing, we did not eat at the last one. Antonis and Sposa are both good though and there is not that much of difference in quality or service according to us. We had dinner at Klimis three times and we ordered a variety of dishes. It's all quite simple but good food and affordable. We tried the seafood platter with salad and fries (15 euros in 2016), the spagethi with shrimps, the saganaki, the tzatziki, the grilled peppers and a few other dishes.

Antonis Taverna is located next to Klimis taverna on the beach of Gennadi. Also here we order the fish dish consisting of a fish, baked potatoes and some salad (14 euros in 2106). The service here is also here friendly and the food is simple but good.

This restaurant is situated right next to the main square in Gennadi. We tried it because it scored fairly well on Trip Advisor, but it was actually quite bad. We ordered the lamb chops, the tortellini with bacon and mushrooms, the salad with salmon and tirokafteri (spicy cheese dip). The guy working there didn't give us a smile or a hello, and came across very moody. The food did not make up for that. The salmon in the salad had had been in the fridge too long and had a very sharp flavor, the lamb chops were mostly just fat and bones and the tortellini was also nothing to write home about. I do not quickly give no tip (happened three times in 35 years) but this was such a moment.

We went back a second time with two friends and when the food was a little bit better. In any case the service (by another man) was more friendly. Still we thought the restaurants down by the beach were better.

One of the nicest restaurants in Rhodes where we have eaten. Charaki (or Haraki) is situated just above Rhodes on the east coast of the island of Rhodes. It is a nice village with two beaches and a castle. You can reach it via a exit from the main road. Efterpi is near the entrance of the village on the large pebble beach. The owner is a man from Crete (we got a raki and we haven't seen raki anywhere in Rhodes!). The service is super friendly, our chairs were even pulled up, the wine was poured and the food was presented with great pride and with a big smile. It also all looked great and you could see that some effort had been made. The baked feta cheese with honey was delicious, and likewise the meatballs and Greek salad. A few days later we came back again with two friends due to success and everything was all right again. Recommended.

Restaurant in the small village of Kritinia. Comfortable seats, good views and a cozy atmosphere. We are suddenly surprised by some very nice live Greek music. We order the Greek salad, the fries, the tzatziki and the stuffed tomatoes and peppers. The stuffed tomatoes and peppers are very tasty. Except rice there is also some chopped meat in them and they are well seasoned. The service is friendly.

Quite large and a littlebit commercial restaurant on the beach of Prasonisi. This is the tourist area. Comfortable seats and smooth and nice service. The cappuccino we ordered was quite good: warm and strong. We take the Greek salad, the tzatziki and the saganaki (fried cheese). Everything is okay.

This restaurant is located in the harbor of Rhodes Town. We order the lasagne and a club sandwich. Due to its location the restaurant is quite busy, but the service is friendly. When the dishes are served the club sandwich is cold and the lasagne very hot.

This is a very nice restaurant on the beach of Stegna. We order various dishes, such as fish, spagethi, octopus, feta from the oven, and a salad. Everything is fine and the service is really very nice.
