We booked a villa here for May 2016 and we have tested it out. We have chosen Gennadi Aegean Horizon Villas primarily because of its price, but also because of its position in a quiet part of Rhodes near a beautiful yet reasonably unspoiled beach, the modern interior, the sea view and the good reviews. The owner is called Anastasios. We met him at or villa. He was a very friendly guy (just like the majority of the Greeks are).

Within 600 metres from Gennadi Beach, Gennadi Aegean Horizon Villas features fully equipped units, each with a private pool surrounded by a furnished sun terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea. BBQ facilities are offered. We had 6 sunbeds around the pool and there was a table and 6 chairs on a shady terrace, where you could have breakfast or lunch.

All 3-bedroom and air-conditioned villas will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave. Each includes 2 bathrooms with bath or shower, free toiletries and hair dryer. Our villa also had another separate toilet downstairs and a room with an iron and board (we didn't use that room though, haha). You can enjoy sea and mountain views. All the bedrooms in our villa had a separate large private balcony and I think all three villas do). A security alarm is available, while free WiFi access is available in some units (we had Wifi...).

Guests will find a supermarket, a bakery with delicious bread and a variety of taverns and cafes within 200 metres from Gennadi Aegean Horizon Villas (about a 2 minutes walk). It is on the edge of the small and in a way picturesque (because old and authentic, not filled with large tourist hotels) village. And although it is only a 2 minutes walk away from the village square and the facilities, it is a quiet place with hardly any passing traffic. The beach lies at some 8 minutes walking distance and here you also find two cosy fish taverns where you can have some nice food. There are some umbrellas and sunbeds here but most of the beach is unspoilt and it is actually quite large. Rhodes International Airport is located 64 km from the property (it takes about an hour). The property offers free parking.

We also stayed here for six days in 2016. The Blue Sea Villa is a very nice villa with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private pool and stunning views. Both bedrooms are located on the front and overlook the sea. They also both have a balcony / terrace. The village square with the bakery, the supermarket and tavernas is about a 4-minute walk away and the beach you can reach after about 10 minutes walking. The villa is very quiet and the traffic that sometimes passes here is negligible.

Blue Sea Villa features a private pool with views over the Aegean Sea and the village of Gennadi. The stone-built villa is split in 2 levels and has a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi throughout. Blue Sea Villa consists of 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the ground floor, you will find the living room, the dining area and the kitchen. Facilities include a satellite, flat-screen TV, DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine and hairdryer. Within 600 m you will find cafes, taverns and a supermarket. The nearest beach is around 1 km away. Rhodes International Airport is located 45 km away. Free private, on-site parking is available.
