Svala Beach is an 800 meters long pebble beach in the Kampos area, not far from Agios Konstantinos. The biggest part consists of pretty large pebbles and the beach is not kept clean over the entire length. Because the wind can be strong here and there are usually quite a bit of waves, a few things will be washed ashore. There is a tavern on the beach and around this place it is kept clean. Here you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds at reasonable prices (there are not many because the beach is actually very quiet). On Monday, this tavern is closed, but you'll be free to use the sunbeds. Svala beach is at the end of a narrow road that leads to an unpaved path. In the vicinity are two interesting churches - click here.
