On Tinos island there are over a 1000 churches that look like they are made of candy. The highlight of them all is the big church in main town of Tinos, Tinos Town, that makes Tinos the religious center of the Cyclades and of all of Greece. The roads on Tinos are good and a drive over the island is quite an experience. Tinos is not discovered yet by mass tourism and is relatively quiet. Only on relegious events, like for instance on the 15th of august, the island gets very crowded.
