Vasilopoulo is a small traditional village in the northwest of Crete. It is situated close to the old road between Kolimbari and Kissamos and not far from Nopigia and its beach. From Plakalona drive towards Vasilopoulo to reach the village. In the village there is a pretty white church with a bell tower and from the road you look out on an even larger church that is standing in a field just outside Vasilopoulo.
