Once upon a time, when tigers were smoking, there were two old men who lived in the same town and each had a big tumor on his chick. The job of one of the old men was cutting down trees to sell at the market for firewood. He was very poor but he had a very good personality. The other old man was very rich. He wasn't only greedy but also stingy. He was heartless and sometimes he treated others coldly and cruelly. Once, when night came, the old man with the good personality lost his way in the mountains on the way back to his house. He wandered until he found a cave, where he spent the night. He sang while waiting for the sun to rise. Hobgoblins heard the beautiful singing and went into the cave. They made the old man sing until the sun rose. The old man had no choice. So he sang while the hobgoblins danced to his music. They asked the old man, "How can you sing so well? Where are your songs from?" The old man answered, using a trick. " My songs come from the big tumor on my chick." When the hobgoblins heard his answer, they decided they had to have the tumor. The old man offered to sell the tumor to hobgoblins, but pretended reluctance. The hobgoblins paid very big money for the tumor and they detached it from the chick. Needless to say, the tumor didn't sing. Early the next morning, the old man found his way home, this time a rich man. All the neighbors congratulated him except the mean old man who became jealous. The mean old man asked the man with the good personality how and where he could meet the hobgoblins. After getting the information he wanted, the mean old man decided that he would try the same trick. That night, the second old man sang and waited in the same place for the hobgoblins to show up. As he expected, the hobgoblins appeared in front of him but this time they were very angry and they confused him with the first old man. They told him, "The tumor you sold us last night didn't sing at all, you liar, so we're going to return it to you now.". As soon as they finished talking to him, they attached the tumor to his chick so that the mean old man left with two tumors on his chick.
