One day the husband went to cut
down a tree and bring it home to use for cooking something. After
he went to cut down the tree, some kings came to visit the
family, but the wife didn't have anything to cook for them to
eat, so she killed the rooster and cooked it for them to eat.
After that, the kings left, and her husband came home. He went to
check on the rooster, but the rooster wasn't in the nest, so he
went to ask his wife where the rooster was.
The wife said, "Some kings
came to visit, but we didn't have anything to cook for them to
eat, so I killed the rooster and cooked it for them to eat."
Her husband was very angry with her. He picked up a stick and hit
her. She cried so loudly that the kings heard, and they came back
to the family's house. The kings asked her,"Why did your
husband hit you?" She lied and said that he had hit her
because she didn't kill a cow or a pig for the kings to eat.
After that, the kings turned her husband into a king, and they
