A long time ago, two orphan brothers lived far from the city. They were very poor, and they lived on a farm. At the bottom of their farm, there was a big river. One day the two orphan brothers didn't have food to eat, and they planned to catch some fish to cook. They went to the river, and they started to fish. They fished all day long, but they caught nothing. Finally, just before they came back home, the younger brother caught a fish and the older brother caught one, too. When they got home, the older brother told his younger brother to cook his fish for their dinner and keep the older brother's fish for the next day. The younger brother didn't agree with his brother, and he told his brother that he wanted to keep his fish to look at in a fish tank. The older brother was angry at his younger brother, and he told the younger brother that he would cook his fish for dinner, but he didn't want his brother to eat with him. The older brother decided to cook his own fish for dinner. When he put the fish into the hot boiling water, he also thought that it was so beautiful, and he wanted to keep it for looking at, too. So he took the fish quickly out of the hot boiling water, but it had already got burned a little bit on the head.
They kept their fish in a pot. Everyday they went to work at the farm all day. When they came back home, food was already cooked, and someone had organized and cleaned the house for them. They were surprised, and they thought it might be God who had done it for them. The next day, they went back to work on the farm. When they came back home, the food and everything was already done. One day the two orphan brothers went to the farm, but they planned to come back home earlier than they usually came to see who the people were who always cooked, organized, and cleaned for them. They came back home, and they were hiding under the bed to see who came to cook for them. In the evening, they saw two women come out of the pot and do the jobs for them. They looked very beautiful to the two orphan brothers. They came out very quickly to catch them. When the two brothers got them, they asked them where they had come from. The two girls told them that they were the two fish that the two brothers had caught in the river and had kept in the pot.
After the two brothers caught them, they couldn't go back into the pot and turn back into fish anymore. They agreed to live with the two orphan brothers and get married to them. The older brother's wife had some wrinkles and scars on her face because she had gotten burned in the hot water. The younger brother's wife was much prettier than the older brother's wife because she hadn't gotten burned. They lived together for one year. The older brother didn't like his wife very much because she didn't look as beautiful as her sister-in-law, so the older brother planned to kill his younger brother secretly and get married to his wife.
One day, the older brother went to the forest, and he looked for a deep hole. He found a big, deep, natural hole on the top of a cliff. Then he came back home and told his younger brother that their old farm was not good for farming, so they had better move to a new farm before the spring came. He said that the next day they would go to find a new farm. The younger brother believed his older brother because they had grown up together. He didn't think his brother would plan to kill him. The next day, they both went to look for a new farm. They went from place to place, and finally they got to the deep hole which the older brother had found and where he planned to kill his younger brother. The older brother told his younger brother to sit down and rest for a couple of minutes, and then they would go on. When the younger brother sat down under the tree, the older brother went to the deep hole. He yelled back to his younger brother that he could see something very beautiful in the hole. The younger brother came to the hole, but he didn't see anything. The younger brother asked his brother what he had seen. The older brother told him to look down into the hole and he would find out. When the younger brother got closer to the hole, the older brother stood behind him and pushed him. The younger brother fell into the deep hole.
The older brother came back home, and he told his sister-in-law that they had been exploring places for a new farm. When they got to the forest, her husband didn't watch carefully and suddenly he fell down into a deep natural hole. The older brother said he believed that his younger brother had died in the deep hole and that she had better get married to him. When the younger brother's wife heard him say that, she cried and cried. She thought her husband had been killed by the older brother. After talking, the younger brother's wife asked the older brother to take her to the place where her husband had died to make sure. Then they would come back to get married she said. The older brother was very happy when he heard her say that. The older brother took his sister-in-law to the deep hole the younger brother had fallen down into. When they got to the deep hole, the younger brother's wife jumped into the deep hole which her husband had fallen into because she didn't want to marry the older brother. The older brother came back home very lonely. The moral of this story is that you should not take the love from somebody else because whoever God gives to you should be your love.
