Jesus
Explaining Jesus is far more complicated than a person might think. In short "Jesus is Everything" He is the vehicle that makes it possible for us to reach heaven and eternal life. It is easier in many ways to tell you what Jesus is not. Jesus does not: ...create sickness - Jesus healed us of all disease when he died on the cross - Satan is the one who releases sickness and disease. He persists in creating symptoms even when we tell Satan we are healed by the authority of Jesus. Many of us are persistently afflicted with a variety of symptoms and diseases. God uses this attack to bring Christians together with the unsaved who are similarly afflicted. Some of us will go to the grave with an affliction or disease. God's word says to stand in faith that you are healed and that is what we must believe. We must do our best to ignore evidence to the contrary. Many of us will go to the grave afflicted, but we will live eternally with our God given heavenly bodies that are pure of sickness, affliction and disease. Our faith here on earth is essential testimony and the most valuable inheritance you can leave for both the saved and the unsaved. ...punish us for our failures- Jesus is power, authority, forgiveness, encouragement, compassion, redemption, our teacher...no matter what type of issue that comes your way it should never change the relationship that you have with Christ. Perhaps in the secular area of your life that walks in the world failure and damage to your character is a daily event, but it is the eternal life that we are working for...Jesus is our rock and the foundation that we must construct the building blocks of our lives on. Using the plan that Jesus dictates to build our lives on will not follow the path that the world would take, and is sensible only in the context of obedience to Christ, but the mystery of the plan of God is so worth whatever risk we may take. You have to pass the test to receive the testimony.... ...partake in things that are forbidden in the Bible. - Jesus does not work through mediums, psychics, magicians, sorcerers, witches, etc...Jesus works through people who have been saved, who are receptive to the anointing of the Holy Spirit and who operate in one or more of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was with Jesus here on earth and it was with the Holy Spirit's power that Jesus performed the miracles that occurred here on earth. Jesus wants us to operate in our faith exactly like he did and believe with the confidence that he did that we have power over the circumstances of this world. ...does not discriminate or cause contention between others. Focusing on Jesus will change your whole concept of interaction with the world. Take care to journal your walk with Jesus. If you do this you will discover how much the power of God works in your life and how unaware you were of God's hand in your life events daily. Jesus is directly represented by the text of the Bible. In many places he is nick-named The Word of God. When you read the Bible, you are reading the personality of Jesus and he speaks of the Father (represented by the Old Testament in many ways) and the Holy Ghost who is felt and known in a supernatural way to believers.
