You ask what Yearning Curves is about? It was started just this year by a 25 year old who is finally proud of her big beautiful curves. Sarah Benham decided that big women needed to show the world that they are proud of their bodies and NOT ashamed of not being a size 2.
For years, American society has made overweight people feel just that, overweight. Well, perhaps others are underweight! It has been “them and us” for a very long time but for that time the skinny people have been the “us” and the voluptuous have been the “them”. Yearning Curves is trying to change all that, one t-shirt at a time.
Do not think that you will not receive a lot of attention wearing on of YC’s shirts, because you will! From thin and big alike, people will stop you, comment, and maybe even send a scowl your way. Jealous perhaps…
