Entry 66.6: A Tribute to Missing In Action
Topic: Tribute of Honor
Well it has been too long, but I have finally recieved all my MIA Screenshots from my friend, Joe. So here... a review of all three films and some pictures.
Mising in Action (1984)Missing in Action is Vietnam war movie that has a plot that is almost identical to Rambo: First Blood Part II. Chuck Norris has to go into Vietnam to rescue some left over POW's. The Vietmanese deny there are any, but Chuck Norris knows to much and is able to hun them down and rescue them. (Yawn). The plot is boring, but it makes up for it in the action part. Chuck Norris is an action star for a reason and he kicks some serious ass in it.
Missing in Action 2: The Beginning (1985)This is supposed to be the story of Chuck Norris before MIA 1 (1984). It's about Braddock's (Norris) story when he served in Vietnam. The entire movie is spend in a POW camp and Chuck Norris has to endure a multitude of torture sequences and a psychotic Vietmanese General before he can escape. Eventually he does in the last action packed 1/2 hour. The movie finishes when he kung-fu's the bad guy to death and then blows him up while saying "You lose". Chuck Norris kicks ass. This movie demonstrates how.
Braddock: Missing In Action III (1988) This is quite possibly one of the best movies ever made. It starts with Chuck Norris leaving Saigon at the end of the war...wait a second. In MIA 2, he was supposedly held in a POW camp long after the war ended! WTF? ...Anyway, he goes back to civilian life and "12 years after he left", a priest informs him that he has a son and back in 'Nam and the woman he married there is still alive! So he goes to the CIA to find out and the Director, "LittleJohn" (apparently, an olf War Buddy) tells Braddock not to "step on any toes". Chuck Norris responds, "I don't step on toes, I step on necks". Wow. So he goes into Vietnam and kills a bunch of people (Including an ugly, but polite child rapist). He rescues not only his son, but the priest and a full orphanage of children. They make it to the border before the final showdown. Which is awesome. Oh yeah, and his wife dies. Here are some screenshots to help explain the movie...
The villain of the piece, "I am General Qwok!"
The setting of the final confrontation.
Chuck Norris is upset he has to kick more ass before the movie can end.
This priest is either afraid of the enemy helicopter or Chuck Norris' ass-kicking abilities.
Luckily, the army showed up.
Maybe it wasn't so lucky that the army showed up.
An US Army helicopter shows up...
"If he makes one wrong move, we'll crawl up his his ass!"
"You got it!"
The evil General Qwok is frightened!
Meanwhile...
This guys is just happy to be a Communist. Little does he know that Chuck Norris is about to...
...STEP ON HIS NECK!
"I dont step on toes... I step on necks!"
Anyway, the movie is about to end, but Chuck Norris fist teaches his kid how to fire a rocket launcher at Qwok's helicopter. Therefore, resulting in this humorous series of screenshots...
If I need to explain this to you, you are an idiot.
Anyway, these are great movies and Chuck Norris is awesome. Rent 'em and enjoy 'em.
And that's for now. Oh wait, this is a old favorite of mine from Rambo: First Blood Part II...
HE IS THE MUD!
See ya!
