70 the 8: Starbuck(s?)
Topic: Movie Reviews!
Well, again I have not updated in some time. Sorry, I have been really busy, but I got lots of stuff to post today considering I am going to show this baby off in class for a presentation.

OK, first, some fun pictues...

This is called "The Eye of God". Apparently, it is in space.

Ah, the wonders of modern technology... Russian technology that is...

Now, for some links...
Google : Everyone loves Google. It has News, Groups, Videos, Images, and is the best search engine I know of. Also, they are the only company who won't give up OUR private information to the Feds! Shout out to Google!

The Internet Movie Database : This site is great for movies buffs like me. It has almost every singl movie made registered on this site. You can find anything, it is amazing.

Political Humor : This is a great site political satire, humor, lists, and video clips. Just fun stuff.

All Hat No Cattle : A nice, anti-Bush site that updates regulary. A great source of humor AND news.

Chuck Norris Official Website : The Chuck Norris Official Website

The (Almost) Daily Comment : Longmire's Site. He has started updating again. His site has returned!

Unpublished Comic Book Covers : These are a bunch of comic book sketches and covers that never where. Interesting stuff, but beware, this site is PG-13, for suggestive themes and violence.

OK, now onto the topic of today -- movie reviews...

Number One: Battlestar Galactica

This is a terrible movie. The hero's name is Starbuck. He makes friends with a robot. The robot dies in his arms after being killed by other robots. And he has a child with a goddess. Terrible

This is Starbuck.

Number Two: Basic Instict 2
I haven't seen it, but I really want to. I loved the first one. I can't wait for the next one and I hope it will be good.

Number Three: Comparisons.
War of the Worlds (1953) is better than War of the Worlds (2005).
King Kong (1933) and (1976) are better than King Kong (2005).
Why is Hollywood screwing up the classics?

Well, I got to go! See ya!

Entry 77: The Joseph Kay Show
Topic: Games and other fun stuff
Well, the first episode of the internet radio talk show, The Joseph Kay Show is finished. Dan Peterson and myself finished three 20 minute segments for a twenty minute show. And it is pretty good. Unfortunately, I can't post the audio clips here -- but I will upload them on to the podcast directory relatively soon.

I will post the link when it gets online. Thanks!

Remember to e-mail us at thejosephkayshow@gmail.com !

Well, I still haven't heard from our Kent Hovind loving friend, so I will go on updating as usual. But here is a website that deals perfectly with "Doctor Kent Hovind"... Analysis of Kent Hovind

That page still makes me laugh.

Anyway, Longmire has returned from the dead -- check out his blog for some great video updates.

Next, some more great pictures for you...

I thought this one was appopriate, considering it is my seventy-sixth entry.

I love this one. A classic.

This Rocky IV pic is actually the backround for my computer at school.

This is just a very funny comic strip.

and...

In consideration of the fact that the Snowball theme was a return to the '70's, a picture of my favorite disco band...

...the Bee Gees.

Also, I will mention that I am aware of the Random Chuck Norris Facts that going on about the internet. Rather than pick out my favorites as I have done on my RT journal, I will post a link here.

Check them out... check all the Random Chuck Norris Facts

Otherwise, not much is happening -- I am working on a podcast radio show (I should be able to post audio clips here) and trying to catch up on my movie watching. And trying to get a new job. Speaking othat -- I have to go research something right now.

See ya!

Shout out's:

Entry 75: Kent Hovid has a fan?
Topic: WARNING: Politics
I just recently got this comment posted... I'm speechless...

Saturday, 28 January 2006 - 2:28 AM CST

Name: kent hovind fan
Home Page: http://blah blah blah
E-Mail: Goupyours@youguysareweird.com

your a @#!%$&* loser. Kent hovind loves science. The stuff(lies) that is being taught in school is what he dislikes.

(No Name)

What "guys"? I'm the only one who operates this blog! Anyway -- this shows the true intelligence of the Christian Fundamentalist Right. Cursing, "blah-blahing", poor grammar, accusations, no facts, and insults.

Wonderful.

Now I will respond. OK, "kent hovind fan", first of all, you're is spelled wrong. "your" is not "you are", that would be "you're". Better get the old grammar book out! Next, Kent Hovind says he "loves" science. What Kent Hovind loves is Christian Science (which is an oxymoron), and he hates Biology and other real science. Next, you forgot to put a space between "stuff" and "(lies)". Also as far as lies being taught in school (I assume you mean evolution), they aren't lies. They are well reasoned out theories relating to the creation of the world (a creation that did happen literally in Genesis 1). Also, it is not very Christian at all to call me a "@#!%$&* loser", because I'm not. I'm funny, I'm intelligent, I have plenty of friends, a great girlfriend, and a great time at school (a Jesuit school, mind you).

Also, what the heck does "Goupyours" mean?

Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon. You can apologize at any time!

Now, I will begin a campaign of information about Kent Hovind that is... less than favorable...

See ya!

Entry 74: EVEN MORE MORE on Pat Robertson
Topic: Lists for Fun
On "Political Humor's" List, the 50 Most Loathsome People in America of 2005, Pat Robertson was #1.

Here's what they put...
1. Pat Robertson

Charges: If Pat Robertson’s local Starbucks caught fire, he would claim that God was punishing them for giving him a caramel latte when he ordered vanilla. Robertson has always been a demonic charlatan with the credibility of Miss Cleo and a lust for Armageddon in his vile, rat-toad heart, but this was really his year to shine. In 2005, Robertson called on God to vacate seats in the Supreme Court (the almighty obliged, killing Rehnquist), advocated assassinating Hugo Chavez, said ‘judicial activists’ were a more serious threat to America than terrorists, called criticism of the war treason, said John Roberts should be thankful for Hurricane Katrina, which he implied was “connected” to Roe v. Wade, attributed Ariel Sharon’s stroke to divine retribution for the Gaza pullout, said “the Antichrist is probably a Jew alive in Israel today,” and implied that God would wipe the residents of Dover, PA off the map for rejecting Creationism. Not to mention raising huge sums of cash from his zombie army, much of which is diverted from his charity operations to his business interests, including African diamond mines. Has long advocated that America simply ignore the Supreme Court. Robertson’s God is an insecure, misogynistic, homicidal fanatic—just like Pat.

Exhibit A: Vehemently opposed to voluntary abortion in America, but okay with forced abortion in China, where his cable investments depend on the good graces of the government.

Sentence: Repeatedly struck by lightning.

You can find the full list here, at Political Humor

Good stuff, indeed...

Not much else for now -- I have some pictures to update relatively soon AND some big news...

I am in the process of making my very own podcast talk show. You can check out my official blog for the show here, at The Joseph Kay Show

Tonight, hopefully, my friend Dan and I will record a test show and upload it onto this blog. Eventually, we will get them onto the podcast directory and I will post all the information here.

It will be a lot of fun... now, on s personal note --some good news... I GOT MY TEMPS!

Woo-hoo!

Shout out's:
Dan

Just Stupid:
Pat Robertson... again

One Bad '69: More from Pat Robertson
Topic: Celebrities!
I'm going to start of by saying that I met Al Franken on December 9th and forgot to mention it. I went to a talk he hosted at Alverno College and it was hilarious. My mom took a few pictures, but I don't think they turned out... oh well, just thought I would mention...

Anyway, here is some more from my love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with Pat Robertson. I was bored one day and I went to his website and I saw a "post a comment" section and did so.

This is what I typed...

Subject: I send you a letter...

Dear Mr. Robertson, a few months ago, I sent you a letter. You never
responded! Now all the children at the orphanage are sad and dying!
Please, have mercy and respond!

Do it for the children!
(End)

Recently, I recieved an email from CBN, stating this...

CBN Partner Rep Beth Mon, Jan 9, 2006 at 1:58 PM
To: RamboIV@gmail.com

We appreciate this opportunity to respond to you on behalf of Pat Robertson. Because of the large amount of mail received daily at CBN, Pat is not able to reply to you personally.

In your recent message to us, you mentioned that you had not received an expected reply from a previous contact with us. Please accept our sincere apology to you for our oversight. We would appreciate your resending the concern you expressed to Pat Robertson about the children.

The Christian Broadcasting Network Website - www.cbn.com < http://www.cbn.com/> The 700 Club Prayer Counseling Center - 1-800-759-0700
(End)

I bolded the important part.

Stunning, isn't it? So now, I must reopen my letter and send it again, starting a whole new saga of hilarity with the 700 Club.

God, I love Televangelists!

Shout out's / Just Stupid:
