Mistaken Magic *HF*

Shadow had just returned to the BLHC castle, and since his wife, ‘Porscha Rushmore,’ was staying there until she had the baby, he had decided to join his family again. Since he had never had the time to speak to his fellow members, he was luckily introduced to the BLHC Paladin’s Toby.
He remembered seeing her when she first joined the court but never actually had a conversation with her. As this was a perfect chance to meet and speak to her, he first had to find her. Toby’s stature was not very suitable to Kyle but as Steven told him that she had changed and developed more into women, he looked more into the subject. She was now about 17 years of age, and seeing this was the age for girls to change into women, he went in search of her.
Kyle left the West-Wing of the BLHC castle and went in search of Toby. Since she had become a good friend with Rage, the Blue Queen, she looked up to her as a big sister.  As he entered the gym area of the castle, he came upon the Blue Dragoons Radar. As this was Kyle’s brother, he raised him out of the swimming pool and had he levitating whilst drips of water were falling into the pool. He began to laugh and talk to his brother, as Radar was answering Kyle’s questions without any interruptions, Kyle played a trick upon him. After he told Kyle the whereabouts of Toby, Kyle left his brother hovering over the water. He shouted out to his brother while also laughing, but as the door of the gym shut, he went diving into the water.
Kyle was told that she was in the library area, looking for a book on controlling her powers of manipulating an object's light reflecting patterns to change it's color and luster temporarily without the result of her becoming dizzy or euphoric. Kyle teleported himself to the library, and not having the exact coordinates, he was placed in the non-fiction area. He began to walk around the maze of books, when suddenly, a pile of books were falling towards him. He quickly teleported for a second and teleported back. He looked up and saw a hand, reaching over the top of the bookshelf. He flew up to the top and came upon a young, but beautiful women. He asked her if she was all right, and the women replied to the answer of yes. Shadow held out his hand and as his hand touched her hand, they were both teleported to the ground.
They got into a conversation and as the women turned out to be Toby, Kyle was pleased to meet her. They stayed in the library but sat in the talking section of it. They talked about their lives, relationships, and adventures they have had so far, during their time in the BLHC. Toby had never actually encountered much of the action-packed world, but Kyle told her about his adventures in New York with the Amazing Spider-Man. Toby was astonished from what she had heard about Kyle’s adventures and knew that if with the right actions, the two of them would become good friends.
On the following morning, Toby had been asked by Kyle to attend a training session with him. She knew this would be a good place to show off her fighting skills, and to impress her new teacher. Kyle was ready to work, and as Toby had been fitted with a new combat outfit, she looked beautiful as well as dangerous.
The training began, and because Toby had come off to an excellent start, she got tired easily during the process. Kyle was very impressed with her techniques, that he allowed her to be a student of his. As Toby jumped for joy on the proposal, Kyle knew that was a ‘yes.’
The next couple of weeks, Steven allowed Toby to be trained by Kyle, and since she was making excellent process, he had nothing bad to say about the issue. Every morning of everyday, was the training session for Toby and Kyle. She was out of bed the first, and since she wanted a good and early training session, she practiced in the gardens, while Kyle planned the training session at hand. This went on for some weeks, and as Kyle had made a new friend, Toby had been progressing harder and her techniques were of a high quality.
Kyle knew that someone would make his friend ‘jump for joy’ if he came to watch her as she performed her fighting skills. That someone was Spider-Man. Kyle had thought up a spell to create a massive illusion of some how looking like a party, but it was for Toby. She was going to perform all of her techniques in front of her fellow Outer Circle members, as well as the Inner Circle and Spider-Man.
Kyle had left the training sessions alone for a couple of days, and as he made all the arrangements for Toby, she still did practice in the gym area. Kyle got in contact with Spidey and asked him to come along, he was thrilled at the idea. He had got the special guest, the illusion spell performed; all he needed now was his BLHC members. He sent out letters throughout the BLHC castle, and asked everyone to come. He cast a golden letter spell to the Inner Circle members, just to make them feel happier. There was only one day left, and now that Spider-Man had come to the Castle, he began to train Toby, which made her the happiest gal in the world.
Everyone had received an invitation to the performance, and now that the day had come, everyone had been able to make it. All the Outer Circle and hellions made their own entrance, which gave Toby’s day just a little bit more magical.
Storm came flying in with lightning surrounding her; Waya came in by sliding across her ice floor while her using her fire ability to melt it off. Graymalkin leapt into the air and landed on his feet, then sprinted to his eat, whilst Ian Fitzroy came in by his ability to make himself into fire. Radar made his entrance by shooting a physic beam in the air and gilding through it, making him glow. Salvanza came in by absorbing the energy from the sun’s rays into his body, making him glide but also shine like the sun. Lark made an appearance by throwing her electric balls in the air and making a circle around her. She made them all explode and whist the smoke was clearing up, Scarlet Mistress teleported herself by appearing then reappearing in different figure styles. Red Fox and Masquerade made their entrance by Red Fox transforming into an American bald eagle, whilst Masquerade rode upon him, in the disguise of Steven Booth. They flew down and took their seats to watch Nelo Angelo make her appearance by transmitting herself high up in the air and falling to the ground but as she fell, she began to show off her gymnastic skills. She did not hit the ground, but she teleported herself to her seat. Everyone got up from their seats and awaited the appearances of the Inner Circle.
Blackfire and Morte made their entrance by having them both appear next to each other. Blackfire’s beautiful red hair waved in the wind, whilst Morte made herself and Blackfire levitate, and also as she made an evil pose.  Epyon used his ‘Shadow spirit’ to make him fly and create blasts of tremendous forces, also Xeus came in by using his hands to shoot out energy blasts. Steven Booth and Charlotte Sometimes made their appearance in a large and golden made carriage, which levitated to the eating area to which they would be watching the performance. The last person to make an appearance was Spider-Man and as he did so, he made himself a web-parachute and glided into the golden carriage to where a seat was placed for him with Steven and Charlotte.
The skills of Toby performance was on it’s way, and as Kyle had just gone to the gym area to give his friend a few last words of wisdom, he left his friend to take control and just go out there. He went out of the gym area and flew towards the illusion performance area and cast a spell to make him a have an excellence entrance. He made the sun’s rays shine down into an arrow into the ground, and as he teleported himself in the centre of the arrow ray, he made smoke appear. It twisted around the arrow and as he shouted out an introduction to the upcoming performance. As he told everyone to sit down and enjoy the show, everyone did what he said and Shadow made the arrow explode with him flying towards his seat. Kyle made the illusion area create sounds and as Toby walked out of the gym area and walked towards the middle of the area, everyone started to applaud. Her nervous looking face vanished and a huge grin appeared. She looked up to Kyle, as he winked at her, she got up her courage, and just before she started, she waved at her fellow friends and Spider-Man. She then got onto the basic techniques in-which she showed her fellow members, jumps, kicks and punches. Then it went on to basic combat. This is where Kyle made four ugly looking men approach her, and as she took them all out with some old and new moves, he was applauded afterwards for defeating them. Then it came to aerial combat in-which Kyle made her levitate but at her own will, she could move freely (rather her having flying abilities). Kyle did the same as he did for combat, but this time the men were on jetpacks.
Toby was going fine and performing excellent techniques, but as Shadow was casting his spell to produce four other men for her to defeat, he lost his concentration on the spell. The spell exploded and as a gigantic force beam had been unleashed from his mind, it went straight for Toby. Steven and Rage could not stop it n time, and the beam struck upon helpless Toby. She covered her face and as it struck her, she began to fall but also glow her the process. Kyle’s face turned pale and as everyone was just astonished at what had happened, Steven and Rage went to help Toby.
Steven checked her pulse and as she was still breathing, she was just heavily hit by the blast. Storm and Graymalkin looked and Kyle and as they said to him what has he done, Kyle’s eyes filled with water and as he started to cry, he flew to the West-Wing and went into his bedroom. Steven left Rage to handle the problem while he flew to the West-Wing, in order to talk to his son.
Kyle and Steven began to talk and because Kyle thought he was a threat to his friends, he should just leave the BLHC and live in New York with his wife. Steven said that there was no need for that and as he succeeded in talking Kyle round, he returned to Toby. She had recovered from the blast and as she felt a new presence in her. The hellions and the Outer Circle were told to go and do everything they want, and as Blackfire, Morte, Xeus and Epyon left to take control of the other members, Steven, Rage and Kyle stayed behind with Toby.
She was saying that she could feel a new vibration in her body, and as she could feel it, Steven looked confused, but used his telepathy to get into the mind of her. Kyle smiled at Toby, and as she smiled back, Rage stood beside Steven, looking around the castle. Steven had traced the source of this new feeling Toby had, he came out of her mind, and as Toby and Kyle were awaiting the result, Steven told them. He told Toby that she now possesses the mutant ability to generate an unknown form of luminescence, a manifestation of the life force existing within all beings. A type of psionic energy, it responds to her conscious and subconscious mental commands. In addition, Toby can now produce far more of this psionic light than ordinary living beings, thus increasing her physical agility and swiftness. She can also surround herself with a light-like aura. Toby was confused at first, but as the weeks went past, she came to terms with her newfound powers and performed them a lot in-order to control them.
Kyle and he still were friends, and after he gave her the new powers, their friendship became stronger and she had thanked him for that mistaken magic!
