Shadow Force 2
During his days at the BLHC, The Blue Prince (AKA Shadow) had been called up to train in the Danger Room. After his fiasco when he first joined the PHC, which has recently transformed into the BLHC, he was nearly killed by the computer, which trained him. He was lucky that RKB was able to come to his aid and restore him to his original health. He never wanted to be in the Danger Room again after that. However, he is older and has more control of his powers now and as he is coming nearer and nearer to his training, his nerves are rising high. He entered the BLHC Castle and went to the West Wing where he had a shower and got dressed for his training. Steven contacted him through his mind and was told to come to the Danger Room.
Kyle got control of himself and as he had been practicing his abilities, he was worrying too much on failing, just getting through it all. He went out of the West Wing and flew towards the area of the Danger Room, RKB was awaiting his son at the entrance and as Shadow landed safely, they both proceeded into the Danger Room. Steven and Shadow stood at each side of the metallic door. They both pushed their hands in a hand scanner and this allowed access to the room. They both walked in and as Steven put his hands at his side, he rose from the ground and left his son alone in the room. Steven passed through the Control room window and landed on a leather sit where he spoke to Shadow through a microphone. Shadow was looking pale and knowing that bullets and lasers would be shot, he clenched his knuckles together and looked right into them. Steven eased his nerves by telling him he will always be here if you need help. This reassured his mind and thoughts quickly, but the time was coming and Steven was about to start the simulation. He set the mode to ‘Marvel Villains,’ this was a battle against various Marvel villains, which Shadow liked because he had fought two of them already.
The lights went off and only laser lights were shown, these would not harm Shadow but make him see clearly. Then suddenly, a horrific laugh was heard and as Shadow knew whose laugh this was, he stood still and looked around. A stranger flew over-head and Shadow pointed his index finger at him. He missed but tried again, and this time succeeded. The person fell to the ground and it was uncovered to be the evil and horrific Green Goblin. Shadow had faced this villain before and knew exactly what to do to succeed. The Green Goblin had a weak spot of being told the truth about his life, Shadow slagged him off and as the Green Goblin was getting more anxious to kill him, Kyle flew right towards his evil foe and knocked him out. The Green Goblin flew to the ground and disappeared.
Steven smiled at the first knock but suddenly; a manly roar unleashed and broke the silence of the Danger Room. Shadow thought of who the villain was now but could not think of who had roars to symbolize his welcoming. That is when Rhino (AKA Alex O’Hirn), struck Shadow with a powerful force that made him fly towards the metal wall. The Rhino gave out a hideous laugh and as Shadow was picking himself up, he rammed him again. Steven getting quite nervous now could not look away. Shadow was able to fly upwards and escape the Rhino’s rampage, but as this villain started to shout with his deep and loud voice, a red laser struck down Shadow. This made him fall to the ground; he was not doing very well with this one but had to remember his Marvel bio’s from when he was young. He was muttering ‘Rhino’ under his breath but as he quickly shot out a magic ball which, made the laser blow up, he flew upwards again. He had to keep his concentration on the Rhino as well as the Rhino, but as it struck him, he remembered what was Rhino’s weak spot. He was vulnerable to electricity, and as Shadow was aimed to be shot at by the lasers, he made his way down to his enemy. He punched Rhino, thinking it would hurt, but it hurt Shadow more than it did Rhino. Then a laser was shot out, but this was an electric bomb, which contained various amounts at electricity. Shadow flew upwards fast as Rhino faced the laser and looked nervous, he was struck down and as this was the highest amount you can put in a power ball, it made Rhino disappear. Shadow had would the battle but it was not over yet! Steven was looking pleased again at his son’s success, but as it was said about Shadow, it was not over yet.
The Danger Room computer, had two villains put in battle now, and as Shadow had been given a re-charge, this allowed him to have full strength. This time, the two villains appeared without any entrance, they just walked in. The villains were the two of the most evil villains New York has seen since the Red Skull. They were Carnage (AKA Cletus Kasady) and Venom (AKA Eddie Brock). They both struck Shadow with their super strength and webbing. They worked together to defeat him but as Shadow knew what he had to do to make these villains disappear, he flew straight up and joined his hands together. He spoke out a spell, which made sparks fly out of the palms of his hands, this created a fireball that had loud sounds coming off it. Carnage made an axe out of his symbiote hand and was going to strike it upon Shadow. He quickly unleashed the ball, this made Venom, and Carnage’s symbiote’s shred off their bodies as they disappeared. Another success to the hero but the last one was going to be very tough and quite impossible to defeat, if Shadow remembers his Marvel bio’s from when he was young he would not have any problems, but if he forgets this one, this could either kill him or make him victorious. Steven did not know whom the computer would pick, but the computer placed a turning figure of the person, Shadow was going to fight. The loading process took seconds but as it showed more of the figure, the computer bleeped once and it showed the horrifying figure. It was the ‘Red Skull.’
Steven knew that the Red Skull had a concoction called ‘the Dust of Death.’ This pollen-like poison kills anyone almost instantly. Steven knew he had to help Shadow but he could not, he had to fight for himself and as this was the last villain, he had to fight with all his might. Shadow was getting worried now but as it came closer to the end, his nerves with slowly decreasing. The Red Skull appeared in front of Shadow and as he could not fly, or use any mutant powers, the Red Skull was helpless. Shadow started to punch and kick his evil foe and as he was getting more and more weaker, the Red Skull waited till he had become very weak and that is when he would strike. Shadow was sweating now and as he knew his punching and kicking abilities would not do anything, he used a drainage ball that could drain the life out of someone. It could either kill them or just paralyze them. As Kyle waved his hands around, he formed the drainage ball, and let it fly towards the Red Skull. He just stood there, awaiting the power ball, but suddenly, he revealed a plasma mirror that could absorb any mutant attack and fire it back on them. He caught the attack and pressured it back towards Shadow. Shadow did not know what to do, so he froze and was terribly hit by the drainage ball. The Red Skull grinned and as he walked over to Shadow, Steven wanted to stop the simulation but he could not. It was a lock on fight that could be inferred by breaking the code or finishing the training. Shadow lay helpless on the ground as the Red Skull was looking down on him. Steven looking quite nervous now, but suddenly, the Red Skull pulled out the deadly concoction, the ‘Dust of Death.’ Steven tapped into the code area of the computer, he tried to break it, but he was too concentrated on his son’s life. The Red Skull raised his hand, which had the concoction in and through it towards Shadow. He was just waking up as the deadly potion was coming closer; he was just able to catch a glimpse of the potion that was heading towards him. He quickly whispered a spell that put a force field around his whole body. The Dust of Death reflected off the force field and was aimed back at the Red Skull. He looked puzzled now but the potion hit him and again, Shadow had succeeded in his training.
Steven looked amazed and please with his son, but as Shadow got, Steven turned off the training and flew down towards his son. They opened the door to exit the Danger Room; they walked out and had a long conservation about how well Shadow did. Steven was please that his son faced his fear and was able to succeed. Shadow was also pleased with himself that he asked that everyone should come down to his party room and celebrate the conquering of his fear within the Danger Room.
