Years 1-164 -- "Early Years"

1 - Coming of the Raxananikoa to Raxanadon; start of Records.

2 - Raxananikoa finish journey over Mt. Zonsak; first permanent settlement, Gudnaband, founded at base of Mt. Zonsak. Temple to Raxanazar construction begins.

10 - Temple to Raxanazar completed.

100 - Lake Hukasal settlement founded.

150 - Great Library and Second Temple to Raxanadon construction begins at Hukasal.

155 - Great Library finished. Paved road to Gudnaband completed.

158 - Fire halts construction of temple at Hukasal.

160 - Temple of Hukasal construction resumes.

164 - Temple construction completed. Religious capital moved to Hukasal.

Years 165-167 -- "Years of Warning"

165 - Prophesy of doom comes to Gudnaband. High Priest of Raxanazar orders construction of stone dome over city, as he was told by Raxanazar himself.

167 - Protective dome completed, with large doorway facing away from Mt. Zonsak for trade and airholes along bottom. First lumbermill established to provide fuel for lights. Fireplaces connected by tubes to the outside.

Years 168-169 -- "Years of Waiting"

170 - Mt. Zonsak erupts. The door is shut, and the lava flows over dome, encasing city. Air and smoke holess miraculously not covered. First Miracle. Year of Darkness.

171 - Stone rolled away from door to reveal that the molten rock never covered the doorway. Second miracle. Trade resumes with Hukasal colony. Year of Hope.

172-175 - Top of dome partially chiseled away to provide light and air. Temple of Gudnaband rededicated. Years of Light

200 - Mt. Zonsak erupts again in a flowing river. The Domed City, Gudnaband, prays to Raxanazar to save them. A fierce wind comes from the southeast and blows across the river of fire, and it changes course to avoid the city, creating a path for further eruptions to follow. Third Miracle. Year of Joy.

205 - Work begins on the Zondozip, "Wall against Fire," a giant wall which will hopefully divert lava flow from Mt. Zonsak away from Gudnaband.

210-212 - Noxnakufum, the "Tower of Light," is built as an addition to the Temple of Raxanazar at Gudnaband. It reaches high above the city, peering out of the hole in the dome.

255 - Zondozip construction completed. It stands 500 feet tall, and extends for 10 miles. A ditch 50 feet deep is dug along the outside to further deter lava from coming upon the city.

Years 300-450 -- "Years of Discovery"

300 - The Raxananikoa found their first settlement on the southeast coast of Raxanadon, the great port of Salkirax.

305 - Mt. Zonsak erupts again but is deterred easily by the Zondozip.

350 - Raxananikoan voyagers from Salkirax reach a foreign shore and make peace with the natives (Kaasts). Trade is established.

355 - Second port city of Gudnamak built to the south of Salkirax. Ships set out, laden with goods, for the Sikadona, "Sea Lands (Scihari islands)." 

360 - Mt. Raxgud discovered.
