Introduction: from CPA to Math Teacher

Hello, my name is Steven Tarrant and welcome to my online portfolio. Accounting was a challenging and rewarding first career. Finding joy in training and teaching fellow employees in the business world helped steer me into the field of education. Teaching enables me to lead by example, add value, and be a positive influence. Teaching is my vocation and I am truly passionate about it!

I completed student teaching in the spring of 2009 and now hold my Pennsylvania Instructional I Certificate to teach Math in grades 7 through 12. I am currently substitute teaching and am searching for a full – time math teaching job for the 2009/2010 school year.
