Marchant Cemetery, on Marchant Road in Redding, Connecticut is unusual in that it only contains one grave. George Marchant declared in his will, "I direct my Executor to bury my remains in the lot east of the house on the Knowl [sic] the ground enclosed. I direct he erect a Granite Monument to my memory with iron fence to enclose the same the whole to cost two thousand dollars. I also direct that four hundred dollars be kept on Interest -- the Interest to keep the monument and fence in repair." (Text taken from the Find A Grave website.)
