Tharp Cemetery

Tharp Cemetery (commonly - and mistakenly - known as Thorp Cemetery) is located on Kellogg Hill Road in Weston, Connecticut. It contains only four known burials and is actually located in someone's front yard. (My apologies if I briefly trespassed.) Three stones remain, and of those, two are still legible.

"In Memory of
Capt. EPHRAIM LYON
who died
Feb. 20th, 1794,
In the 53d year
of his Age."
"Here lies buried the Body of
Mr. JOHN FANTON
who departed this Life
Nov. 18, 1795,
Aged 90 years."
The gravestone of Lydia Tharp is completely illegible. She was born in 1756 and died 2 October 1758.
One final burial is known to be contained in Tharp Cemetery (no stone exists):
Peter Tharp, 1760 - 26 October 1808.
