Chevez M. Moman, Master Barber has over a decade of experience in the Trade of Barbering. Chevez was born & raised on the south side of Columbus, Ohio currently owns and operates the BarberZone Barber Studio, which is located on the south side allows him to make a positive impact in his own community. Chevez is an Eagle Scout since 1986; serves as the Vice President of Ohio Barber Association. In 2004, he served his community for 2 years, as the President of the Marion-Franklin Civic Association. During that time he also sat on the Urban Scouting Board of the Boys Scout of America and worked with the City of Columbus in the Cap City Kids Program; where he was honored with the opportunity to be a Guest Speaker during a Town Hall with Former Presidential Candidate John Kerry and Mayor Michael Coleman.

Chevez is blessed with the God given ability to make people look and feel good through a simple haircut and motivating conversation. In 2003, Chevez created BarberZone Barber Studio, LLC where he combines barbering skills with the business education he received while attending Central State University; to operate his barber shop, produce barber instructional video and create a barber graphic design haircut chart. In 2005, Chevez created the BarberZone Clothing Co, where individuals can purchase items with a barber theme. In efforts to take his visions global he created, developed and controls websites which include: www.barberzone.org, www.barberzoneclothing.com and his personal page www.chevezmoman.com. In efforts to provide the best customer service, the websites allow current and potential customers to make appointments, pay for services with credit/debit cards, preview haircuts, get directions and more than the conventional barber doesn’t offer, setting himself apart. Chevez’s clientele includes professional athlete’s, TV & radio personalities, entertainers, political figures, religious & community leaders, but he never forgets where he comes from.

Chevez travels the country sharing his vast knowledge of barbering in informative forums, workshops & classes. With his state-of-the-art technological approach to barbering as a business Chevez is making a name for himself in the Barber & Beauty Industry. By taking advantage of the digital age and social networking, Chevez is currently recognized internationally as one the Elite Barbers in the area of Education and Graphic Hair Design. His instructional DVD titled “The Art of Designs & Graphics” is a step by step guide to basic cutting and advanced design techniques. His unique hairstyles have been displayed in numerous international barber and beauty publications, he also holds the Copyright to “BarberZone Graphic Design Chart” which displays 20 of his designs.
