According to ignorant American belief, shurikens are "throwing stars" and are always in the shape of throwing stars. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!! There are actually TWO different varieties of shurikens. One is the star-shaped variety, which generally comes with three to eight points. But there is a second variety!! It is the BO SHURIKEN. A bo shuriken has only one point...it is a metal stick with one pointed end. They are especially cool. It takes great skill to be able to throw them, since if it isn't thrown at the right *velocity*, the point will not enter the target. Instead, the smooth part will hit the target and the target will proceed to kill you. So next time you talk about shurikens, remember the forgotten bo shuriken. Shurikens have feelings, too, you mean ignorant Americans!
