Smith Cemetery

Story: A graveyard near Moody Lane is where a man and a woman were killed on opposite sides of the road. And at midnight you supposedly can see the woman crossing the road to see her man.

Location: 100 S and 300 W in Rensselear or Francesville Indiana.

Directions: Take Highway 49 South until it ends (about 25 miles from Valparaiso). Turn West onto Highway 14 and go for a mile until you see 100 W. Turn South on 100 W and go a mile until you see Division Road. Turn West on Division Road and go for 2 miles until you come across 300 W. Turn South on 300 W and go for 1 mile and the cemetery will be right there.

We visited Smith Cemetery on April 11, 2003. It was 50 degrees outside with clear skies and quite breezy. The time was just after 8 p.m. This cemetery has some of the older graves on the North side of the road and some newer graves on the South side of the road. We started off in the south side of took some pictures and started getting some orbs. Then we went over to the North side and we really weren't getting anything. Until the last picture we took we got some more orbs. I know that we weren't there at midnight to see the woman crossing the road, but we didn't feel like waiting for 4 hours. We still had some pretty good luck getting some orbs.
