The Story of Carnage!
On a warm July day, after driving around the boring
suburb of West Palm Beach, Florida where there is nothing but houses and
stores, ShitEater and Ben went back to Rabih's (also
known as Amon) apartment where Rabih was going to restring Ben's
guitar. After doing so, Rabih reached in his pocket and took out a
quarter of regs. ShitEater smiled and Ben started shaking his head.
Ben plays football so he doesn't usually smoke, but on this occasion, he
had succumb to boredom and peer pressure! The three friends then
went outside and hit a couple of bowls. They then went back inside
and Rabih picked up his guitar and started playing some riffs. Ben
then began grunting and singing along. After about a minute, Rabih
stopped playing, went over to his computer and opened up n-track recording
(a recording program). He then began recording. He picked up
his guitar and Ben screamed into the mic "Raping! Killing! and Mutilating
your Ex-Girlfriend's Ex-Girlfriend!". And so the first Herbal
Carnage song was made! Then they decided to do another. This
time, ShitEater joined in with some brutal screams! The second
recording became "Arabian Magic Carpet". The next day, after listening to the songs, Ben and Rabih decided to create a project band just for fun! The name for this band had to be brutal! Rabih first suggested "Genocidal Carnage" but then several minutes later, Ben decided to take out Genocidal and replace it with Herbal, which fits well considering how this band started. Since that day, several other recording were made and songs like "Leash Unleash" and "Trapped By A Towel (which is a song that basically talks about Ben's experience with a towel that got trapped under a door and his painful yet comical struggle to remove it. This came as a result of 5 MASSIVE bong hits!). There are many recordings but only a few were actually released online (go to the MP3s section to listen!) The Band has recently decided to upgrade from being a simple "Project" Band to a true full time band! Expect the invasion to begin this January Until then, keep checking the site for updates and new recordings! |
