Christian Basic Trainning
babes in Christ - Got milk? - learn and grow
(1cor 3:1 -•- 1pet 2:2 -•- 2tim 2:15)
Where to begin? - canal mind -> Spirit born - the book of John
Who and what to believe?! - The Word and Messangers %
Reading the Holy Scriptures (Holy Bible).
Where to begin?:
- Intro
- carnal mind - For those not born of the Spirit
. - the carnal mind and it's limited ability to understand the Scriptures
- The book of John (Gospel of)
- spirit born - For those born of Spirit and spiritually aware.
. - I believe the best place to start is to define and realize what part we play in the vastness of God's universe, especially here on earth. Understanding that we are His. He made us, and therefore is worthy of our thanks, praise, worship and lives dedicated to following His ways. This is a step-by-step learning process, as is most anything in life that stands the test of time.
Psalms 139:13 - For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. (nas)
Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (kjv)
The Carnal Mind:
1st Corinthians 3:1
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual,
but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. (kjv)
For 21 years I had only a carnal mind, that is the mind
of the flesh, the mind of the world. Having received only
the teachings of worldly ways, without spiritual insight.
Because of this I can relate in understanding through my
personal experiences, walking according to a fleshly mind.
Though being of carnal mind, i found, causes or leads to
destruction in some form or another, causing pain and sorrow.
What seeminly brought me joy for a time following my own
ways of the flesh had fallbacks that were not profitable
in the short-term or the long-term.
There is much evidence in the Bible which is clearly
stated that the carnal mind and the works of the flesh
is unprofitable, even detrimental for men.
So what then do we do? Start learning about Jesus Christ,
and building a relationship with Him.
Who, being given power over all things, is able,
to help us overcome the carnal mind and the works
of the flesh through the Holy Spirit, that we be able
to do that which is acceptable in the sight of God.
As for those who are not spiritual, learn and grow
in the Word of God, and from the teachers of it, that you
receive the Holy Spirit and allow it to continue to dwell
in you, that it may profit you in many ways, even to
eternal life.
2nd Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (kjv)
1st Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word,
that ye may grow thereby: (kjv)
Hebrews 5:12 - For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. (kjv)
5:13 - For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. (kjv)
5:14 - But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil. (kjv)
. - His Word (the Holy Bible [Holy Scriptures]) that is made available to us: is our guide to salvation from evils of this present world; to joy even in troubles; to everlasting life; to reach the ultimate end where all pain and sorrow are done away with and even death is finally destroyed, yet those who sought to learn the ways of God will remain ever more with the Lord, eternally rejoicing and praising His name for what He has given, shown and has yet to show us.
Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Who and what to believe?
Put your trust in the Word of God, that is the sayings in Bible,
the Holy Scriptures.
That is, believe the Word of God above the word of men.
It is clear, that even in Christianity there are a variety
of teachings that men teach, claiming to be spiritual,
and many are. Yet if you have question as to the validity
of the words they speak regarding spiritual leadership
on a specific subject, ask them to show you where it is
in the Bible.
Do not disclude their statement if they are
not at the time able to find the scripture which supports
what they were attempting to teach you. But consider it
for the time, being uncertain, until someone can make it
clear to you, showing you in the Scriptures, or better yet
having read it yourself, recieving understanding through
the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 8:20 - To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Love:
(1st John 4:19) - We love (Him), because He first loved us.
(1st John 4:16) - We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
(1 Corinthians 13) - often refered to as the "Love Chapter" ... P.S. : Charity=Love (agape)
Grace: (favor [of God or Christ])
(Ephesians 2:8-10) - For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9) Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Faith:
(Hebrews 11:1) - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (kjv)
Hebrews 11 is often called "the faith chapter"
Believe: (commit to trust)
(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (nas)
Repent: (turn [from evil ways to the ways and counsel of God])
Jesus said... (Luk 5:32) "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Praise: (thank)
- Praises to God attract the Holy Spirit to dwell within. The Spirit of God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3 ; John 4:24)
(Hebrews 13:15) offer sacrifices of praise (thanks) to God...
(Psalms 150) - (Praise God in the means in which you are able)
There are so may things in life to praise (thank) God for, such as our lives, even the very individual parts of our bodies, such as the liquid that sooths our eyes for example, the earth, trees, plants and tastey foods. You can think of many things we can thank God for, i'm sure. :)
Now knowing that the Spirit of God becomes present through sincerely praising Him, also in the midst add your prayers, that He should hear and and honor our request through our belief and faith in Him (may our prayers also be within the will of God (that which He would or will approve).
Baptism of Water:
- Baptism of water is an outward showing of the inward spiritual baptism.
Baptism of Spirit: - (Baptism of the Holy Ghost [Spirit])
Reborn: (of Spirit) (Born Again ; Born of God ; Spiritual Birth)
- Romans 8:9 - However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (nas)
- John 3:5 - Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 3:6 - "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." (nas)
New Creature:
(2nd Corinthians 5:17) - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (kjv)
