Definition of Terms
Calenandon:
Ancient Jedi for Most Powerful of All. The Calenandon is the strongest Jedi or Zanespot currently living in the galaxy. The title often passes around as students and masters learn, forget, grown, and weaken. Because the Zanespots are considered more powerful than a normal Jedi the Calenandon is believed to be an older Zanespot, at least until Guardian is released.
Calenandons, because of their great power, are hunted creatures. Hunters of varying degrees are born with an instinctual need to find and kill a Calenandon, holding the mistaken belief that doing so will take them into the position to become the next Calenandon.
Caminee:
A very rare race of humanoid creatures on the brink of extinction. They are known by their tall stature, dark skin, and pale hair that comes to a point in the center of their foreheads. Caminee are rare because each female is capable of bearing only one child and the males are completely loyal to their chosen mates. Because so few exist still in the galaxy it is not uncommon for a Caminee to roam the galaxy until dying of old age without ever meeting another Caminee.
Guardian:
A god-like being that is responsible for the creation of the galaxy and keeper of all time. As the galaxy grew and expanded he created the Jedi to help watch over his creation and keep peace.
Though not actually male or female, when appearing to humanoids he generally took on the appearance of a male human.
Hunter:
Hunters of varying degrees are born with an instinctual need to find and kill a Calenandon, holding the mistaken belief that doing so will take them into the position to become the next Calenandon.
Many weaker hunters never manage to find the Calenandons in their hiding places among the Tri. Those that do go on to fight the Calenandon to the death in one on one combat, often armed with a ceremonial dagger so sharp that even the lightest scratch can bring blood.
Olveck:
Fist sized creatures with thick white coats of dense fur used for weaving into warm, durable fabric.
Palpatine Bastard:
Early into Palpatine’s reign as Emperor female slaves were rounded up for his personal pleasure. Although not all of those falling under this title are the offspring of slaves, the vast majority are. No legal wedlock was ever attempted and the derogatory title was soon given to the hundreds of children left behind after the Emperor’s death at Endor.
Tri:
Home of three Zanespots-one from each of the three time periods. Also, name given to the grouping of the three Zanespots.
Zanespot:
As the Jedi multiplied and proved themselves useful all over the galaxy, Guardian found himself unneeded. Knowing that he and his powers would one day be needed again he chose the nine most powerful and trustworthy of the Jedi to protect over his spirit.
Guardian split himself/his power into three equal pieces of time, Past, Present, and Future. Because each was so very powerful still he split those into three equal pieces and bestowed one portion onto the nine chosen Jedi. When all nine came together and focused their energies and minds they would call Guardian back into being.
Zanespots are not immortal. When the Zanespot dies his/her/its power immediately moves to a newly conceived Force-sensitive child.
Zanespots traditionally live in groups of three, known as a Tri (also the name of the structure they call home), one of each time period. When the three of the Tri put their energies and minds together they could share their minds and powers.
Though Zanespots how the power to look and move through time and space they are unable to manipulate it. They see events, recognize thoughts and emotions, and draw conclusions based on what they know and see. It is because of this power to see over time that the Zanespots are incapable of belonging wholly to either the light or dark sides.
The word Zanespot comes from the ancient Jedi language for Power Keepers.
