12.25.02, 8:55 pm So, you know what's a really really fun game and really really addictive? That's right folks, The Sims. And that would be why I stayed up until 6 am playing the Sims, and then got up at 9 of course to open presents. But I'm not complaining, cause it's been a good Christmas. Cause I totally got everything on my list: Box O Sox and a Fido Sony Eriksson Cellphone. So now I just have to wait a week till I'm 18, and then I can activate it. Cause I don't have a credit rating till I'm 18, which is really quite silly if you ask me. KATYA 12.24.02, 9:49 pm Well, I just got back from the Thiesson family Xmas celebrations at Mikes. And guess what I got. NOTHING!!! AHAHAHA!!! I guess I've been baaaaad this year. But whatever. So now I'm sitting at home in my PJs watching The Red Violin on CityTV. And tomorrow I get presents!!!!! KATYA 12.18.02, 11:07 pm Well let's see.....Anne had a piano recital today, and I wanted to KILL SUZUKI after an hour of small children playing TWINKLE TWINKLE KILL SUZUKI!!!! Oh, and mom totalled the car. KATYA 12.17.02, 11:59 pm You know what's really mean? Having a really exciting show with a cliffhanger ending, and knowing that you won't see any more of the story till January. Damn that Joss Whedon is a genius. DAMN HIM!!!! KATYA 12.16.02, 11:20 pm Well, I'm in Saskatoon. My flight was late by about a half hour cause of the snow in TO, but I made it. I get to sleep in the basement in between boxes of Cayley's old comic books and my dad's weight bench. Whooee. But seriously folks, Cayley is one of the awsomest brothers in the world!!! Cause guess where I went tonight!! Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and let me tell you, it was SO AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's really all for now I guess. KATYA 12.14.02, 2:10 pm Well well well. All I have to say is that this is very disturbing. You'd think somebody who belonged to a minority would not be such an openly racist person. Only in Saskatchewan..... KTAYA 12.09.02, 11:27 pm A week from now, I will be home!!!!! Yay!! So, I heard through the grapevine that my darling brother Cayley got tickets to an advanced screening of Lord of the Rings on the very day I get home to Saskatoon. The only problem is, my darling brother "forgot" I was coming home and asked his friend Andrew. So I've decided that I have two options. I can kill Cayley, or I can kill Andrew and steal his ticket. Now folks, this is where you come in. All you have to do is email me and tell me what I should do. Now you do have to realize that I have already disowned Cayley. That's right, he's not getting any of my inheritance!! Take that, sucka! And I'm also seriously considering keeping his birthday present. I mean, I've hardly seen my darling brother since he came home last Xmas, and then he goes and betrays me by asking Andrew. I mean, he can see Andrew any old day. Anyways, tell me what I should do, cause I just cannot decide. In other news, Barrie was actually fun. Not the whole music playing thing, but the hanging out, and the awsomely cool busride home with the awsomely cool busdriver who used the lights in the bus like a strobe light. And also the awsome party at Jeremy's where I set a record for the most beers drank by one person, and almost fell down his stairs. And getting home at 4 am was fun, and also waking up at 9:30 to go to a rehearsal was fun. I discovered that if you wake up and are still drunk, you don't get a hangover!!!! It's a miracle. But anyways, now that I've said all this, I expect a lecture from mom on the evils of underage drinking, and being responsible, yada yada yada.... KATYA 12.07.02, 12:54 pm So I'm now fully up-to-date on Gilmore Girls! Jess and Rory are so cute!!! And now back to reality: we had our concert at Metropolitan United Church today. This week I was promoted to principal since the viola section was ,dropping like flies. See, there was supposed to be six of us: Mary-Kathryn, me, Caitlin, Shannon, Chonghua, and Charlene. But Charlene decided not to play cause last orchestra week her tendonitis flared up really badly, so she was going to take a week off from playing this week. Then Chonghua got kicked out (of the concert) cause she skipped a rehearsal, and then Mary-Kathryn got really sick with the flu that's going around, and it was so bad she had to stay at the hospital overnight on Tuesday night. But the concert tonight sucked muchly. Nobody was paying any attention or counting. It sounded similar to the night when half the orchestra went to the pub on the supper break and got really drunk. No wait, that sounded better. Anyhoo, tomorrow we have to go to Barrie for an 'outreach' concert. To those poor underprivilidged Barrie folks. And then on Sunday I'm supposed to play Appalachian Spring with the YAPA orchestra, with whom I haven't rehearsed it with since their first rehearsal in September. And then on Monday it's my Theory/Aural Skills midterm. Oh happy day. And Graeme emailed me and told me my video links weren't working, but I checked them, and they worked for me, so maybe Graeme just sucks and doesn't know how to use a computer. Yes. I think that must be it. And I also added a downloadable full-size poster of Milo Ventimiglia, cause your life isn't complete if you don't have one of those. KATYA 12.04.02, 12:51 pm Ah, I updated my craziness page with some good stuff. Check it out. In other news, it's a pseudo orchestra week, but I wish someone would kill me, or I would get Ebola so I wouldn't have to go. It's really horrible music. At the end of the day yesterday, I had a migrane from the bad music. I mean, one of the movememnts is called 'Of a Rose, a Lovely Rose.' That shows you the quality of the pieces. AAAAAAH!!! Kill me now!!! KATYA |
