Androids first appeared in the DragonBall Series in the Red Ribbon Army for use to take over the world. After Goku destroyed them, there was still a threat, Dr. Gero. In his secret labratory he continued his research and building of these weapons of destruction. Androids are either half human/half machine or are just 100% machine. They never tire out and have special devices on thier hands to drain power from thier opponents. Animals don't really play a big part in DragonBall Z. They are mainly part of the DragonBall series. Goku meets Oolong and Puar there and they help him on his quest to find the 7 magic Dragon Balls. They are either used as pets, allies, or as some characters would call them, close friends. The only cool thing about that was that animals in DragonBall could talk. There were also dinosaurs in DragonBall Z too. Animals in DragonBall Z -Oolong, Puar, Gregory, Bubbles, Mr. Breif's cat, Gohan's Dragon, (Icarus), Roshi's Turtle, etc. |

These are the bug-like creatures that lived on the planet that Vegeta and Nappa blew up on their way too Earth. They really didn't play much of a role in DragonBall Z. They only appeared in one episode. |

These guys look sort of like lizards and have the ability to change forms in place with apperance, power, speed, agility, etc. Changelings also have more then one form. Changelings in DragonBall Z -Freiza, King Cold (although he never transformed), and Cooler (DBZ Movies #5 and #6) |

Demons are some pretty evil creatures. They are also very powerful, and some can even compare with up to the levels to some Saiyans. Demons are either from hell or sent to hell when dead. Humans play vitol roles in DragonBall. Some humans are fighters or members of the Z team, or some humans are just the innocent people that get killed or hurt in the way of fighting. And some meet aliens and have babies. The humans that were fighters were trained to become what they are. Humans in DragonBall Z -Gohan (Goku's Grandpa), Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, Marron, Marron (Krillins Daughter), Videl, Mr. Satan, Bulma, Chi Chi, Mr. Briefs, Mrs. Briefs, Master Roshi, Yajirobe, and most of the normal people on Earth, etc. |

The Kais play some major roles in DragonBall Z. The first one to show up is King Kai. He teaches Goku how to do the Spirit Bomb and also the Kaio-Ken Technique. Then Kaioshin appears and he helps train Gohan. Revered Kaioshin also gives his life up for Goku. There are other Kais that appear in the DBZ Movies as well. There is only one character who is Majin but he is the most powerful villian in all of Dragon Ball Z. The Majin was created by Bibidi, and revived by his son Babidi. Majin is able to regenerate any body parts and has the characteristics of which whom he absorbs Ex. (power, speed, etc.) Majin also has many forms. Majins in DragonBall Z -Kid Buu, Fat Buu, Skinny Buu, and Super Buu. |

Makyos aren't really one of the more noticed villians, but they are pretty cool. Makyos come form the planet Makyo Star and when the Makyos look at their planet they become stronger, kind of like the Saiyans with the full moon. Makyos look some what like a Namek. They aren't really that strong but Garlic Jr., (A Makyo), has one of the most powerful and devastating attacks ever, the Dead Zone. Makyos in DragonBall Z -Garlic Jr. and Garlic Jr's dad. |

Namekians are far more one of the stronger races. Much stronger then the humans, but much weaker then the Saiyans. All Namekians are male and are produced from eggs by one Namek, namely the Guru. Namekians don't eat much but mainly drink water. Namekians also have the ability to regenerate limbs and are able to fuse together to create a more powerful Namek just like when Piccolo and Kami fused to become Super Namek. Nameks in DragonBall Z -Piccolo, Piccolo "The Great Demon King" (DB), Kami, Nail, Dende, Guru, Lord Slug (DBZ Movie #4), mostly all the creatures on Namek as well. |

Saibamen were created when Nappa planted the seeds in the Earth during the Saiyan Saga. These little, green guys are as strong each as stong as Raditz. Even though they may not seem strong they sure gave the Z fighters a hard time. They appeared a few times during the Saiyan Saga and a little in GT. |

Saiyans are the most powerful race in all of the Dragon Ball series. Sayains originated from the Planet Vegeta (originally called the Planet Plant.) They love to fight and their powers are limitless. After every battle, every fight, every close encounter to death, their power level raises. Full and half breed Saiyans have a tail and when they see a full moon they will turn into a giant ape-like creature. It is said that every 1000 years a Super Saiyan will arise, but it was false because Goku and Vegeta did it in almost less than 10 years between each other. So, the producers had to fix that and they created Broly, the "Legandary Super Sayain". Broly was born Super Sayain. Broly has only appeared in the movies. Saiyans in DragonBall Z/GT -Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Bardock, Turlace, King Vegeta, Trunks, Bra (DBGT), Goten, Broly (DBZ Movie #8, #10 and #11), Paragus (DBZ Movie #8), Nappa, Radditz, Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. (descendants of Goku and Vegeta) and Pan (DBGT) (although she is more human than Saiyan) |

Tuffels lived on the same planet as the Sayians. It was origanlly called planet Plant, but when the Sayains took over they changed the name. The Tuffels were highly advanced in technology and held off the Saiyans with it, but the Saiyans eventually overcame and killed all of them except for one, Baby. Baby didn't make his appearance until GT, when he attempted to get back at the Saiyans for what they did to the Tuffels planet. When Goku was making his way back to Earth after the Frieza Saga his ship crash landed on planet Yardrat. The Yardrats are friendly, shy creatures. They nursed Goku back to health, repaired his ship, gave him new clothes, and taught him Instant-Transmission. The Yardrats really don't play big roles in DragonBall Z and are only a minor race. |
