Fighters:

Incom/Subpro Z-95 Headhunter

The Z-95 Headhunter is one of the most common fighters in the galaxy despite the fact that the design is older than most starfighter pilots. The starfighter is maneuverable, and its durability is legendary. Headhunter's often are found in planetary police forces, and many pirate and outlaw groups use these ships.

The original Z-95 Mark I Headhunter was designed as an atmospheric fighter craft that could be adapted to space travel. Mark I Headhunter's are twin-engined swing-wing craft. The bubble cockpit gives the pilot a clear field of vision. Z?95s typically have a set of triple blasters on each wing. While Z-95 Mark 1's aren't fast enough for space combat, their maneuverability gives them a clear advantage against starfighters that aren't streamlined for air combat.

Incom/Subpro designers made modest improvements with each model year, and the Z-95 fighters from the last production run are evenly matched against other fighters of that era. These later Headhunter 's are more likely to be found in operation today. The swing-wings were replaced with fixed wings, although maneuverability was maintained by adding maneuvering jets. Another addition was a more heavily armored starfighter canopy much like the one used in the X-wing, while heads-up holographic tactical displays were improved. The lust Z-95 models look like primitive X-wings, and with good reason-Incom's designers borrowed many Z-95 elements when designing the original X-wing fighter

Republic Cruiser

The Republic Cruiser is the direct predecessor to the CR90 Corellian Corvette, and although unarmed it maintains powerful deflector shields. The Republic Cruiser serves as evidence to the quality and fame of Corellian spacecraft design. The red color of the Republic Cruiser indicated that the cruiser has diplomatic immunity or is protected by diplomatic status and warns others not to attack. Red has been the color of ambassadorial relations and neutrality for starships of the Galactic Republic for generations. This tradition would be continued into the days of the Galactic Empire, for example the Tantive IV was stripped in red, which indicated its special diplomatic status.

YG-4210

The YG-4210 is one of the latest in Corellian Engineering Corporation's YG series of transports. A series that has been in production for several millennia, the YG series was designed to be modular enough to adapt to a variety of missions and uses. The YG-4210, measuring 24 meters in length, has a primary section that sits in front of the engine pods. It can transport up to 10 metric tons of cargo and up to twelve passengers.

Action IV Transport

The Action IV Bulk Freighter typically operates in convoys or in well-patrolled areas of space, simply because it can't stand up to any attack. Its inner holds can be individually adapted to various pressurization and climate needs of the cargo being transported. Pirates call them "Inaction" freighters because they often lack weapons, shields, speed, and rapid hyperspace capability. These freighters stay in service only because they are extremely inexpensive per ton of cargo to purchase, maintain, and operate.

YT-1300

The YT-1300 Transport is one of the most common trading small craft found in the Galaxy. However, in recent years many freight and commercial trading firms have begun to employ bulk freighters and container ships, which carry far more cargo with more efficiency. Despite this fact, many small traders, mostly in the Outer Rim, swear by these craft and will not give their ships up willingly. The appeal of the YT-1300 Transport is not its basic equipment, but in its ability to take an extraordinary amount of modifications and alterations. In short, the YT-1300 is reliable, durable and easy to modify, hence its popularity.

YT-2000

The YT-2000 Transport is an evolutionary development of the popular YT series of light freighters from Corellian Engineering Corporation. It was rumored the engineers at CEC had trouble convincing the Imperial Regulatory Commission that the YT-2000 was indeed a civilian ship. This ship is heavily armed and armored and is amazingly agile for a craft of its size. The YT-2000 bears an obvious family resemblance to its predecessor the YT-1300, and the YT-2000 is prized for its ready adaptability to a variety of duties, just like the YT-1300.

YT-2400

The YT-2400 Freighter is one of the latest additions to the successful YT series. It retains the traditional saucer-shaped hull, and like its predecessors, it is fast, tough, and endlessly modifiable. With thick armor plating and bulky engines the YT-2400 can easily handle the strain of deep-space combat. The oversized power core and modification space can be used for the addition of "hot-rod" engines and powerful weapons. The weapons, increased armor, reinforced bulkheads, and heavier shields leave the YT-2400 just this side of being legal right out of the showroom. So far, only a few complaints from the Imperial Registry have been forthcoming regarding this exceptional design.

AA-9 Transport

The AA-9 Freighter was one of the largest freighter designs of the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Known more commonly as the Coruscant Freighter, the triple-engined AA-9 could accommodate more than 30,000 passengers when configured for passenger transport. The engines of the AA-9, a trio of Corellian Engineering Corporation Dyne 2577 radial sublight engines, provided more than enough thrust to escape a planet's atmosphere and reach a hyperspace jump point.

Sentinel Shuttle

The Sentinel-Class Landing Shuttle was derived from the successful Lambda-Class Shuttle design. This Landing Shuttle has more cargo space than the Lambda Shuttle and is also more heavily armed and armored. The Sentinel's armor plating is nearly 25 percent heavier than the Lambda's. The Sentinel also has four deflector shield generators, 2 forward and 2 aft. Even with all this armament and protection this shuttle is fast and maneuverable.

In combat this craft relies on its three gunners and a precise targeting system to clear landing areas. After it has deployed its troops or cargo in the thick of battle, most Sentinels remain on hand to provide cover fire. The Landing Shuttle has three landing ramps. Two of which are located on either side of the craft, with the remaining one located behind the cockpit. When landing, its wings fold upward, just like the Lambda-class Shuttle.

Lambda Shuttle

The Lambda-Class Shuttle is used for transporting cargo as well as passengers to planets, starships, star docks, different fleets and systems. The original designer of the Lambda-Class Shuttle was Sienar Fleet Systems. Although SFS manufactures the shuttles, Cygnus Spaceworks is subcontracted to manufacture a more heavily armed version. However, recently Cygnus Spaceworks has begun to produce a more lightly armed version of the shuttle that is virtually identical to the SFS model. The shuttle's armament allows the Lambda to travel without military escort, and it’s multiple shield generators and heavily reinforced hull adds to its survivability.

Many government officials use the Lambda Shuttle for personal transport owing to both their combination of combat worthiness and the large interior cargo area, which can be converted to passenger space. Lambda-Class shuttles often carry only one or two persons in more luxurious conditions, but can sometimes be found carrying up to 20 persons. The Emperor's personal shuttle is rumored to be equipped with a cloaking device, and it is also believed that the Emperor's top aides, military officers and operatives have access to specially equipped shuttles that have secured HoloNet transceivers, allowing instantaneous communication with Coruscant from any point in the Empire.

Firespray Patrol Ship

The Firespray-class Patrol and Attack Ship was originally designed for planetary law enforcement and interdiction duty. In more remote areas of the Galaxy this older model of patrol craft can be found in most territorial patrol forces and navies. The unique aspect of this vessel is it lands with the engines down and in flight the ship is upright. As this craft comes to land, the cockpit capsule rotates to keep the crew and any passengers upright. For maximum pilot visibility and most effective weapons use, this craft flies in a vertical position. The Firespray is strictly average on all other aspects, however it does have amazing durability.

The YV-666 Corellian Engineering Corporation light freighter design that is unique in shape from many other CEC transport designs. It has a large, rectangular main section that is used for cargo storage. Like many CEC designs, the YV-666 is often found heavily modified by the owner. Though not as popular as some other CEC designs, the YV-666 is still found in use with independent traders, smugglers, and even some bounty hunters.

Gallofree Medium Transport

The Gallofree Yards Medium Transport is almost amazingly slow, but nevertheless a popular model for its economic upside. These ships are a common mid-range transport that is used throughout the Galaxy. For ships of their size, these transports can haul an immense amount of equipment. The Medium Transport's outer hull is little more than a thick shell with an open interior. It uses modular cargo pods, which allows the quick loading and unloading of cargo. These ships are popular for their easy loading and durability. When full, a magnetic shield locks the cargo modules in place and keeps out the cold hard death of space vacuum.

The Medium Transport has always been prone to breakdown and tends to spend as much time in repair bays as in space.

Mobquet Medium Transport

The Mobquet Medium Cargo Hauler sports a slightly reinforced hull and extra cargo space, increasing this cargo vessel's popularity with mid-range traders. The Hauler was an attempt by Tagge Co. to slip another ship construction firm into their line. As a bonus to prospective customers, the Medium Cargo Hauler is easily customized to almost any standard. This vessel saw little market penetration, however, although it is fairly popular around Hutt Space.

Medium Cargo Haulers are typically equipped with two turreted laser cannons for defense.

Bulk Cruiser

The Bulk Cruiser is an aging cruiser, existing since the time of the Old Republic. Despite it's age, this ship is still extremely reliable and rugged. Equipped with reasonable firepower and shielding, this ship is suited for almost any type of operation. These ships are typically used to protect convoys from aggressors, though. Local governments and corporations mostly favor these capital ships, however some mercenary groups use these ships as well. Bulk Cruisers are usually modified, since the original design was so slow and expensive to keep maintained.

Guardian Class Light Cruiser

Guardian-Class Light Cruisers are fast, tough, hard-hitting ships that are intended to patrol remote systems. Guardian Light Cruisers are a common Imperial system patrol craft, quite capable of handling common freighter and smuggler traffic, although it is totally outclassed when sent up against capital ships. They are common in lightly populated, isolated systems where the Galactic Empire needs to maintain a presence, without underwriting the expense of assigning a larger vessel to patrol duty. These ships can be outfitted with external docking racks to carry TIE Fighters, however this modification reduces the Guardian's speed.

Star Galleon

The Star Galleon can act as both a cargo and an escort vessel. As increasing number of Pirates began capturing cargo freighters and supplies, the Empire had the Star Galleon designed and commissioned. The interior of the Star Galleon is partially reconfigurable by the bridge, as the blast doors can be used to turn the interior of the Star Galleon into a maze. Intruders also have to face a true fortress of anti-intruder defenses including fortress like emplacements in the corridors, blaster slits, force fields, heavy blast doors and gas dispensers.

The cargo-hold pod is located in the center of the ship. In the event that the Star Galleon seems to fall or has been severely damaged, the captain will jettison the cargo pod in a last ditch attempt to deny the cargo to pirates or anyone else that is after it. To eject, the hull splits along its long axis and blows away as pre-placed hull charges are fired. Once ejected, the cargo pod will automatically jump into hyperspace, randomly selecting from hundreds of pre-programmed co-ordinates. The pod jumps and spends a pre-set number of hours in its new location before jumping again. The pod emits a hyper transceiver signal and can be tracked by using the proper frequency.

Trade Federation Battleship

The Trade Federation Battleship is actually a converted Trade Federation LH-3210 Container Ship. The Trade Federation Container Ships themselves are a design that has been constructed over many years. These ships are familiar to millions of officials and civilian personnel who have dealt with them, plying cargo across the Galaxy as part of the extensive market of the Trade Federation. There are few systems in the Galaxy who have never seen these tremendous vessels of the Trade Federation, and fewer still even realized that these massive vessels were gradually being converted for the purpose of being "battleships".

These seemingly harmless and slow-moving ships (in actuality they were heavily shielded and their hulls had been strengthened with heavy armor plating) were reequipped with powerful quad laser batteries designed to destroy enemy starfighters. The weapons were designed to rotate inward while not in use, thus concealing their true nature until the Trade Federation wished to show their military intentions to unsuspecting "future customers".
