Metroid: Zero Mission Review
Well, Samus is back in a remake of the first Metroid game. This game is basically Metroid 1, except with a whole lotta bonus stuff, like cut-scenes, new enemies and courses. The graphics are very well updated; you'll notice alot of familiar courses as you play this game.
Lets start out with the graphics and visuals. The visuals are probably the best seen on the GBA, and much similar to the ones on Metroid Fusion. THe bosses look really cool, and the cut-scenes are intense and adds a nice taste to the game. 9/10
The gameplay is very fun and addictive. There are alot of bosses and surprises as you play through the game. There are tons of puzzles and tricks, you can collect items and upgrades for your suit so you can progress into different areas of the game. 9/10
THe sound is pretty decent. They have juicy sound effects like the beams and the explosions. The monsters and bosses also so great. THe music is basically the same thing as Metroid 1's except for some extra parts and beats, but gets annoying after a while. 7/10
Value: This is where the game stumbles at. The game is pretty short like Metroid Fusion. There is a Normal and easy mode, and once you beat normal mode you can unlock hard mode. But they're all pretty short still. The good thing is that you can always replay it to see the different endings. 5/10
Overall: WOrth the buy for any Metroid fan, but if you want to continue playing this game over and over again and you are looking for a long lasting game that will keep you occupied, then you might want to borrow this game. But, it is a very fun game and worthy of the Metroid series. 8/10
