Chapter 1
The Cavern
You sit quietly in her command cabin in your starship. Cytes is in sight as you get near it. The starship did a little orbit around the planet, then it lands.
As the ship landed slowly, you get out. You looked at your surroundings and say, “This looks a lot like Zebes. Just a lot more red.” You take out your report journal and starts to write, “ Xytes is very humid, it’s raining now. The planet is covered with red grass. There are lots of mountains. I see a cavern, I’m going to investigate in it.” She walks into the dark, cold cavern.
You walks forward into cavern, and finds dead and decayed Chozo bodies everywhere. You open up your journal and write “the Chozo lived here! There are Chozo bodies everywhere!” The Space Pirates must have been here! They could have bought the Metroids here with them and destroyed the Chozo!
A giant Chozo statue loomed over her, completely still.
The cavern was very dark and wet.
And the statue, very still.
The eyes of the statue suddenly glowed bright red! The eye twitched and the statue started to move! Samus backs away. The statue looked harmful and dangerous! The claws are sharp, and the statue raises its arms preparing to strike! What should you do?!!!!
Fire two missiles at it’s legs!
