Super Metroid
Super Metroid takes place right after Metroid II: Return of Samus. At the end of Metroid II, all the metroids on SR388 or annihilated except for one metroid larva. When the metroid hatches, it follows Samus like a child, thinking that Samus is its mother. Samus brings to the scientists at the Federation at Space colony Ceres. But after she delivered the metroid, Ceres gave out a distress signal calling that Ceres was under attack. Samus went to inspect it, found everyone dead, and found the metroid. Then Ridley came and stole the metroid. Samus tracked Ridley down on a Zebes. Samus searches for the metroid, and tries to destroy the Space pirates. At the end, Samus was fighting Mother Brain when the metroid came in (it grows up and becomes very big), and sacrifices its life for Samus. Samus escapes the planet when a time bomb was set and planet Zebes blows.
