Muscle cars started with the Pontiac GTO and just got bigger from there with all the companies trying to get a piece of the market. They were very popular with all generations but the production of the true muscle car stopped in the late 70's with the fuel crisis and because of all the gosh darned tree huggers. (kill'em all) Any ways yah they were great and bigger is better so yah more horsepower, more torque, and more burning rubber.
