Attorney Ishmael Thoronka is a family partner of Thoronka Law Offices. He practices in the general areas of the law; however, he specializes in Immigration Law and Criminal Law. Attorney Thoronka earned his BA degree in interdisciplinary studies in 1996 from Monmouth University in Long Beach, New Jersey. He then attended Massachusetts School of Law where he earned his Law Degree in 2004 and has been sworn in since then. He has earned many honorable awards; among them was a Book Scholarship Award from the powerful Black Judges Alliance in Massachusetts, Dean’s list and the Governor’s award.
He is based primarily in the Lowell, MA office but he travels between offices to litigate cases in court. He is undoubtedly one of the straight shooters in this field. As the Laws of Immigration are ever changing so does Ishmael‘s desires to learn to be better equipped for his clients. He is hard working and not one to back down from the challenges of the law. He has filed hundreds of Immigration petitions, ranging from family to Citizenship, Asylum and Work Authorization. His clients have always been pleased with the outcome of their case. He has represented many people in court both criminally and in Federal courts. Mr. Thoronka is skilled to represent and litigate complex cases. Attorney Thoronka is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and a practicing member in the Federal Court. He’s been in practice for Five years and is developing a reputation of being a powerful and persuasive attorney.
