What an usual way to show love. And what a shock to the population of Franklin, used to only living with the traditional Southern small-town dynamic of black on white, to be suddenly slapped with different accents, a language no longer safely confined to the high school classrooms, and strange shades of brown on their neighbors. It has promoted inane reactions such as the following postcard, received by my summer manager:

Product of Franklin-Simpson High School!

(note blatant misspellings of words)
