Thomas Battle
Thomas Battle was born about 1721 in Surry Co., Virginia. He is the son of John Battle and Mary Warden. Thomas married
Mary Capell(daughter of Thomas Capell and sister of Sarah Capell). Thomas died on May 26, 1769 in Onslow Co., North Carolina.
Thomas and Mary had five children: Frederich Battle, Phoebe Battle, Lucy Battle, Ephraim Battle, and Thomas Battle.
- Frederich Battle was born in Surry Co., Virginia on November 1, 1744. He died about 1774. He married Jane Martin.
- Phoebe Battle was born July 8, 1746. She married James Dunn.
- Lucy Battle was born July 2, 1748. Lucy married twice, 1. Thomas Davis, 2. Hardy Gregory about 1774.
- Ephraim Battle was born in Albemarle Parish, Virginia on January 26, 1750, he died in 1798 in Onslow Co., North Carolina.
- Thomas Battle was born about 1752.
