Brad Renfro
is an only child. Since 1988, Brad has lived with his grandmother Joanne in
East Knoxville, TN His father works in a blueprint factory in Knoxville, TN His
mother has remarried and now lives in Michigan. Brad is a proficient guitar player
and lists 'Led Zeppelin' guitarist Jimmy Page as his idol.
At 16, Brad is one of the hottest young stars around, and is getting more
and more roles in major motion pictures produced by the top Hollywood
producers and co-starred by the top actors and actresses. Academy Award
winner Susan Sarandon, Academy Award winner Dustin Hoffman, Academy
Award winner Robert DeNiro, Academy Award winner Tommy Lee Jones,
Academy Award Nominated Brad Pitt and Kevin Bacon have acted in 4 out of the 5
movies Brad has made so far. Needless to say he's been directed by such hot
directors like Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever, A Time To Kill) and Barry
Levinson (Rain Man, Disclosure). But Brad isn't considered a very gifted actor
from his fans only. Critics have shown their respect for this talented actor more
than once. Indeed, Brad has won the "Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award"
in 1995 and has been voted one of "People magazine's Top 30 under 30".
