In October of 1997 Jennie's family was contacted by an organization called "DreamMakers". DreamMakers is a foundation set up for children with life threatening illnesses. Jennie's nurses and her Doctor, Dr. Jennings had given her name to the foundation. They told her family that they would see to it one of Jennie's dreams would be completly fullfilled. Now came the hard part, Jennie had to figure out what she wanted to do. By November Jennie had decided she wanted a trip to Disney World and to fly on an airplane. DreamMakers were wonderful, they arranged everything. They got tickets for Airplane, Nickelodeon, Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and much much more. On Dec. 13 Jennie and her family borded the plane ( which was the first time to fly for all of them ) in Nashville, TN. Jennie was treated like royalty when their plane landed in Orlando Fla. A man from "Give The Kids The World" greated them at the airport, showed them to a van loaned for the trip, and then took her and her family to a place called "Give the kids the world village". This village was a wonderful place for Jennie and her Family to stay. Each family had their own cottage. There was a huge play room, swimming pool, and so many other things you could not mention them all. Everything Jennie was given for her dream is credited to "DreamMakers" and "Give the kids the world" They are wonderful organizations.
