The Urban Journal

Over the summer of '99, I interned at The Urban Journal, a Nashville-based predominately African-American newspaper. I wrote stories, inputted press releases, took pictures, wrote movie reviews and did whatever else was required of me. I learned a LOT about how newspapers work.
