I'm in a ska band called Left on Red.  If you don't know what ska is, check out the Ska Page.  If you've already been there then some of this might sound redundant.  Left on Red is the official ska band of Smithville, TN.  We're currently a four piece looking for a guitarist.  We are classic struggling musicians; equipment is scarce and we don't have any money (donations welcome).  We just got a new guitarist, so we're working on some covers to get used to playing together.

We are LefTonRed

???

We need a guitarist.

Craig Watson (me)

I am currently Left on Red's only trombone player.  I'd gladly welcome any other trombone players.  I also sing some of the songs we do.   I am a sophomore Music Education major at Tennessee Technological University.

Barry "Big Head" Cantrell

Barry is the drummer for Left on Red.  He's been playing drums for eight or nine years I guess.  He plays on a Pearl Export something-or-other.  He's sort of the band leader...I think it was his idea to start a ska band.  He's a Computer Engineering major Tennessee Technological University.  I'll have some more info on Barry later.

Adam Loring

Adam plays bass for Left on Red.  He graduated from DCHS (his mom teaches government and world history there)and is a freshman RIM major at MTSU.   Adam used to sing on most of the songs we did, but now he's working on bass.  Adam played french horn in the DCHS band, but he plays a bass guitar of some sort for LoR.  I'll have more info on Adam soon.

Amanda Winchester

Amanda plays lead trumpet for Left on Red.  She's currently studying X-ray technology at Vol State and will be majoring in music at TTU next fall.I'll have more info on Amanda soon.

Joseph Greek

Joseph also plays trumpet for Left on Red.  He's a senior at DCHS and enjoys Weezer and....Weezer?.  If I knew more about Joseph, I'd tell you.

Steve Anderson

Steve is a part-time trumpet player for Left on Red.  He moved to Kentucky shortly after joining the band.  Soon he'll be graduating from Greenwood High School, and entering the United Stated Marine Corps.   He plays french horn in his high school band, but he plays ska on some kind of student-line trumpet.  He works on his parts on his own and comes down to Tennessee for all our shows and gigs.  I'll have more info on Steve later. "Grab the kids and some vaseline, we'll have a great time!"

Mr. Larry Steffee
Mr. Steffee performed with Left on Red at the DCHS "project graduation".  He performed his own style of comedy and joke-telling between sets.  His jokes were a nice change of pace between sets of ska.  While not entertaining, Mr. Steffee teaches Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Calculus at DCHS and Calculus at Motlow State Community College.  He is also the pastor at the Center Hill Brethren In Christ Church.

Sample:  A blind woman walks into Wal-Mart, says hello to the greeter, and does something odd.  She picks up her seeing-eye dog and swings it around over her head by the leash.

The greeter screams: "Stop lady stop! What do you think you're doing!?"

The woman says: "Oh I'm just looking around."
