The CHAPMAN family, according to the information I have been able to obtain, settled in Jacksboro, Campbell County, Tennessee abt 1835 or before.

I don't have much info available on this family as of yet but following is the information that I do have:

John CHAPMAN b-May 5, 1835 in Campbell Co, Jacksboro, Tennessee; d- September 19, 1914; m-Lucinda Burress, b-abt 1838, in Tennessee; d-February 9, 1908 in Campbell County, Tennessee.

2. Henry b-April 19, 1857 in Campbell Co., TN, d-April 13, 1953 in Campbell Co., TN; m-Thursey Elizabeth Cantrell February 16, 1878 in Campbell Co., TN.

3. Mary b-abt 1862; d-1885

4. George Washington b-November 15, 1864, d-February 2, 1929, m-Eliza MILLER October 21, 1886.

5. Elizabeth b-abt 1868

Only info available is on George Washington CHAPMAN and Eliza MILLER.

Eliza was born October 21, 1862 and died abt 1941. 9
