Located at Lee University, the Evangelistic Singers has been in existence for 26 years. Our class meets three times a week and we gather together preparing to bring a congregation into the presence of the Lord. We are proud to say that these students are not foreign to fasting and prayer. As a result we have been a part of a tremendous move of God. Last semester alone, we saw scores of people being saved, rededications, and over one thousand people filled with the Holy Spirit.
As God has met with us at the beginning of this semester and given us a vision, we are excited to report that "Today is the day of Salvation." We strongly believe that God will enable us as his ministering agent to bring salvation to our country in a Spirit-filled miraculous way.
How many? Hundreds, thousands, a million? Why not! We have never been able to accomplish anything separated from His powerful works of grace. Since God is being gracious and pouring out His anointing for His ministry, we are going forth in faith and yielding to God's work. Since God is enabling us, equipping us, and anointing us, where are His restrictions? Do not allow your human flesh to limit God's vision of ministry. We believe Jesus can reach one million people through a single ministering body. Why not? Are we people of faith, of people of flesh? If we believe anything we believe that Jesus was able to save us from our sins by His sacrificial offering at Calvary. If Christ can make atonement for the sins of all people by offering Himself on a cross and has the power to overcome death, what is it then to enable one group to reach one million people for His glory?
John 14:13-14 "And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name,and I will do it."
Lord, we ask you to use us as your instrument of salvation.
