The Fighting Scotts joined as one of the original members in 1989 with their original name being Scott's Slow Motions. They had the 1st draft pick in the 1990 season and kept 1st place from week 1 through the end of the season, becoming champions for that season. They have won 4 championships and lost 3 by a total of 22 points.
Scott's Slow Motions joined the league in 1989. They had no logo design at the time. In 1990, they changed their name to Scott's Screw-ups. At one time, the logo consisted of a bolt and screw. In 1995, the name was changed to Scott's Hopefuls, in honor of the owner's wife and the logo consisted of a football player in Heisman pose holding a trophy instead of a football. In 1997, they were placed in the Black/Blue Division. In 1998, the franchise settled on The Fighting Scotts. The team's colors are navy blue and goldenrod.
