Facts:
The Selfish Giraffes joined the league in 1999 as one of the last of the current additions to the SFFL. They finished third in their first campaign. They were champions for the first time in the 2001 season.
The Selfish Giraffes have had the same name since their inception. The colors of red and black have always been the color scheme and the name originates from a reference in the old Andy Griffith Show.
