Facts:
South's Survivors joined as one of the original members in 1989 with their owner being named Commissioner. They hosted the first draft and had the 1st draft pick in the inaugural 1989 season. They were champions in the 1989 season. They set the record for most weeks NOT being in 1st place by going a total of 183 straight weeks (Week 9, 1994 - Week 5, 2005. The next year, 2006, South's Survivors won their 2nd championship. In 2009, they won their 3rd championship.
The Survivors have created their own unique football formations and language, including:
Rockne's Notre Dame had "the shift" as an offensive formation and the Survivors have the "Graveyard Shift".
Most teams, when inside the 20, enter the "red zone"; the Survivors enter "the dead zone".
Of course, when the Survivors punt, the punter always aims for "the Coffin Corner".

South's Survivors have never had a name change and their primary uniform has remained the same since the start. The basic logo of the hand rising from the grave has been a part of the team from the start.
