Facts:
Red Dawn joined as one of the original members in 1989 as Ken's Southern Boys. They finished 5th in the inaugural 1989 season. Originally, they had a tradition of changing their name each season. They settled on Red Dawn in 1999 after winning their 2nd championship. Names have included Ken's We Might Win, Taylor's Trompers, Ken's Kamikaze(2 years),Taylor's Undertakers, Ken's Krips, T.L.C., Taylor's Topsiders, and Taylor's Tenures. They were 1st champions in the 1991 season. They are the 1st team to win 3 titles (1991,1999,2002).
Red Dawn, due to a tradition of changing names in the early part of their history have had a few changes in their logo. They have had a football player in a Heisman-like pose, stomping on a trophy, and a bi-plane as early logos. Early renditions of the Red Dawn logo include a city skyline with a reddened sky along with a multi-colored sky of orange, red yellow and purple. Now the logo has a white helmet with an orange and purple sun.
