FLYCHICA “DO FOR SELF” IN ELEMENTAL MAGAZINE

Elemental Magazine, an Atlanta based underground culture magazine, featured FlyChica Productions in the June 2000 Issue 19. Elemental Magazine remains true to their words of “Support The Underground”, which was also the slogan that went onto a promotional nameplate rosary. The article, entitled “Do For Self”, highlighted the honorable opportunities FlyChica Productions had at the Impact Urban Conference. Elemental Magazine is available in more than 450 cities worldwide with a circulation of 20,000.

Rappers Redman, Nino Storm and DJ Kid Capri were only a few more names to be added to the long list of well known musicians and dj’s of the hip hop arena who represent Nameplate Rosaries. Russell Simmons and his wife, Kimora Lee also received promotional nameplate rosaries, sporting slogans associated with Def Jam Records. At the suggestion of Def Jam employees, FlyChica put the slogans “Def Jam Def Soul” and “Rock The Bells” on another that was to be given to LL Cool J.

Other well known artists that support FlyChica’s creations are funk movement legends Galt MacDermont, Bernard Purdie, Wilbur Bascomb, rap artists the Beatnuts, Vic Padilla of Terror Squad, 1999 DMC Scribble Jam Champion DJ Precyse, Mass Influence, Esoteric, DJ Shortkut of The Invislb Scratch Piklz, Peanut Butter Wolf, Mr. Dibbs of the 1200 Hobos Crew, DJ Signify, Breakestra and the Lootpack. Besides rap music artists, nameplate rosaries are also being represented by The True Bgirls of The Hip Hop Nation, 88HipHop.com, Kiwibox.com, Chicago-Fashion.com and Todos.com.
