Whew! I know it has been along time since I gave an update and I apologize! Things have just been so busy since Spirit of America ended. And I wanted to tell everyong thank you for all of your hard work on Spirit of America! It was such a great success!
Now, since all of the summer events are over, full concentration goes into this year's Haunted House. We have been hard at work planning for this year's event. So far, we have got some of the entertainment booked, we have set the official dates, and tons of more stuff. As you can tell, we are going to be open for 7 nights this year, beginning on Friday, October 13,2000 (can you think of a better day?:-). That is fewer nights than last year.
We have another haunted house meeting coming up this Tuesday, so I will be giving you some info after that meeting. We are planning on setting this year's date for construction to begin at the next meeting. Also, all room designs for this year's house MUST be in by August 11,2000.. We will set the final house set list sometime the week of aug.14...
Also a big concern is publicity. We hope to get this year's posters/flyers/commercials ready by the end of august and tentativly release them sometime the week of labor day.
