Well my ideals are really broken down into one statement: respect. Respect everything: living and non-living. So... there is two things that I see us respecting: the environment and our fellow men and women.

Environment
Respecting the environment. I know that it is talked about a lot but I have always been under the assumption that it is not talked of enough. This photo here was taken in India on our way up to Bangalore. This tree is beautiful I mean it is large and its branches were scaling towards the skies... its beauty is incredible. Let's do what we can to preserve it. |
Respect for people
Sounds like common-sense... but as I have lived my life there is only one thing that has been revealed to me: "Common sense is not as common as we think it to be." Treat people the way you want to be treated. Jesus said it, Confuscious said it, many people said it. In this era... I say it. I think if you look deep in your hearts... you will see that. The only way for peace to come... is for understanding to preceed it. We cannot understand, lest we learn to respect first... and yes... dogs are people too! |
